A lovely cruise to a wonderful destination.

Review for a Norwegian Fjords Cruise on Navigator of the Seas

I had never been on a cruise before and went purely to see the Fjords. Embarking was really very easy - we were on the ship within 15 minutes of entering the departure building. Immediately staff were helpful and attentive. The ship is huge slightly scary for a first time cruiser, and then one I was over the shock of it's size, I was amazed at how much this vessel held on it, skating ...

Good cruise despite gloomy Norwegian weather

Always wanted to see the Norwegian fjords & we hoped by going in August (albeit late August) we would have decent weather. We had been to the Sounds in NZ on a stunning day in March on Radiance, so were hoping our luck would hold for Norway. But it didnt, it was grey & moist most of the time. But we still had a great time! Our cabin as at the very front of the ship, under the brdge, so we had the ...

Not bad but not our best experience.

This was our second trip on Navigator of the Seas. We wanted to do a Norwegian Fjords cruise and this was one of two options offered by Royal Caribbean. Embarkation went very smoothly. We were allocated inside cabin 3029 which was located where the old Disco would have been - Sabor was above us. It is a quiet location (though we occasionally could hear someone next door snoring!) and we had no ...

Where do I start. The boarding process was ok and the first thing we did was upgrade the drinks packages from select package. We went up to Windjammer (Canteen) and was walking around a few times looking for a table we finally got a table and went up to get food and it was plastic plates no trays either, but plastic plates it was like being back at school. The cabin was ready around 1330 and ...

We had a wonderful holiday aboard the Navigator of the Seas, although the ship was full and there were 1200 children! We did not dine in any of the restaurants were a cover charge is applied but we did attend an Indian taster meal at Sabor. The food was amazing and we got much more that we anticipated - 4 full courses! The service matched the food and I would highly recommend it if you have ...

Just returned from our first cruise, a14 night Mediterranean cruise on Navigator. We travelled with my son who is 13 and a full time wheelchair user and stayed in cabin 1814, accessible panoramic stateroom on deck 12. We chose a cruise as we wanted it to be easy and stress free with our son and avoid flying with equipment we need to take. Lovely room, however this is not suitable for 4 people, ...

In keeping with many other comments there were a lot of good bits, and some less so. Starting with the good, embarkation at Southampton. Remarkably swift and efficient. On board 10 minutes after climbing out of the taxi. Wow. Cabin - excellent, comfortable bed and loved the balcony (can't think I'd cruise without one from now on!). Storage space not too bad, although have to say that soap in a ...

We are a family of four: Mum and Dad, 12 & 15 yr old girls. And we found there was something for everyone. Personally me and my husband liked just liked chilling by the pool and my daughters liked exploring the boat. They had a go at the flow rider, climbing wall, swimming pools and the ice rink, but it was only one for like a couple of hours on a few days which was ridiculous they were very ...

Great holiday but entertainment was poor

This was our 5th cruise with Rccl and we absolutely love these holidays . The food , the staff especially in the dining room couldnt do enough for us and the windjammer food choice was amazing. I have never raised an issue before but would just like to point out that the entertainment this time was very poor . The shows in the main theatre were not up to the normal rccl standard. We have always ...

We chose this cruise as it had a mix of ports we had not been to and seemed appropriate for our 3 year old grand daughter. We were not disappointed as we had a superb time-right from the parking next to the ship and being onboard within 25 minutes. Navigator is a lovely ship-not brand new but well looked after and it certainly has a wealth of things to to do and see. The entertainment was ...
