So a group of 6 of us travelled out of Southampton on a 14 night Mediterranean cruise. This was my first cruise from the UK and if I am honest, I am not sure I would do it again. There are definitely pro's to it if you are from the UK like unresricted baggage allowance, the hassle free process of no flights etc, but I do feel the first few day and last few days were ruined by bad weather.

We have been on 6 cruises with Royal Caribbean and there has been a drop in service and quality since our first cruise. We have just returned from a 14 night Mediterranean cruise May 2018 and despite having a great holiday there has been a drop in standards.

Mostly smooth sailing except in North Atlantic. Ship clean & maintained. Excellent, quick service. Cabin & shower small as usual. Virtual Balcony was very nice. Excellent entertainment (although focused toward Brits-some humor not understood). Although this ship is older it has a great atmosphere. The food was amazing in the dinning room and the buffet is good although I felt it was more like an evening meal selection which for me was not what I would eat for a lunch. We chose this cruise line because of the EUROPEAN EXPERIENCE AND LENGTH OF CRUISE.
