14-Night Mediterranean cruise -- good experience

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on Navigator of the Seas

Although our cruise on Navigator of the Seas was slightly below our previous experiences with Royal Caribbean (Harmony of the Seas , Legend of the Seas, Song of Norway), it was still a positive experience. Overall, our experience and cruise was very positive. Our stateroom (inside with promenade view) was very clean and comfortable. The bed was comfortable. The toilet would not flush one day ...

Amazing Memories

So a group of 6 of us travelled out of Southampton on a 14 night Mediterranean cruise. This was my first cruise from the UK and if I am honest, I am not sure I would do it again. There are definitely pro's to it if you are from the UK like unresricted baggage allowance, the hassle free process of no flights etc, but I do feel the first few day and last few days were ruined by bad weather. I ...

Loyal to Royal Caribbean but standards are not as good as our first cruise.

We have been on 6 cruises with Royal Caribbean and there has been a drop in service and quality since our first cruise. We have just returned from a 14 night Mediterranean cruise May 2018 and despite having a great holiday there has been a drop in standards. Room attendants seem uninterested since tipping became automatic so no need to show any interest in you or their work. Staff in general ...

Usual Royal Caribbean excellence

Mostly smooth sailing except in North Atlantic. Ship clean & maintained. Excellent, quick service. Cabin & shower small as usual. Virtual Balcony was very nice. Excellent entertainment (although focused toward Brits-some humor not understood). Some problems with shore excursions - late tram in Lisbon, poor audio equipment, hard to understand guides, long walk from/to bus in Pisa. Fun trivia games, ...

Great time on this ship

Although this ship is older it has a great atmosphere. The food was amazing in the dinning room and the buffet is good although I felt it was more like an evening meal selection which for me was not what I would eat for a lunch. So in my opinion lunch needs to be more light options. The shows on this ship were not up to previous ships that we have been on and some of the acts were terrible but ...

Mediocre

We chose this cruise line because of the EUROPEAN EXPERIENCE AND LENGTH OF CRUISE. I expected a more Royal experience, but found staff to be overworked and ship understaffed making staff very short in temprement. The 24 hour food experience is totally overated. Lacking in quality and variety. Beverages available are water coffee and iced tea during meals, forcing cruisers to buy the overpriced ...

I asked some of them if they where going ashore they told me that they would like to but they where either working or where to tired ...

A nice break

We decided on this cruise as it was my twin sisters and my 60th birthday just before we sailed and it was the only one that we could find that suited all of us (always fun travelling with family). We have been on the Navi before, but my twin sister and her hubby have never cruised, so RCI is a good choice for those that don't really like dressing up too much (my brother in law). It has been 11 ...

Back to the 80s cruise

We booked this charter cruise via Voyage Privee at an amazing price. The lead prices were over the top and it looks like they had to be drastically reduced in order to fill cabins. Cruiseco, the charter company, really need to do their homework on pricing if they intend chartering ships out of the UK again. They also need to make sure that all agents have it available, as they seemed to be ...

This was a chartered cruise by Cruiseco and billed as an 80s theme with over 38 acts performing during the cruise. It was very well organised with added benefit of the Royal Caribbean standard. Booked 3 weeks before departure & benefitted from a half price cost which proved to be great value for money - took out a drinks package which was reasonable price and well worth it. Entertainment was well ...
