Wanted a longer cruise outside the school holiday. Never been to the Canaries before. The ship was Beaty with a lot of decoration and art. Clean and good taken care of. Our incide cabin had everything we needed and a lot of places to store our things, perfectly located on deck nine between the two lifts. Our stateroom attendant Ida did a Great job and kept it clean and was so nice to us all the ...

Have cruised with RCCI previously. Expected the ship to feel big, like Independence, but in reality seemed a little smaller..didn't matter though. Quality of musicians in the bars around Navigator were exceptional. Bar tenders very friendly and attentive. Remembered our name, cabin number and drinks preference, really quickly, was very impressed. Jacuzzis lovely and warm and quite easy to ...

We booked Navigator because of the varied activities advertised. There were 8 of us in our party - aged from 75 down to 18, so we wanted things to keep us all happy and occupied. Having previously cruised several times on Celebrity, we had high hopes of this being better equipped for the two younger members of our party and, indeed, that proved to be the case. However it was definitely less ...

Great Family Cruise

Just returned from an excellent family cruise around the Canary Islands. We were a group of 6 adults and one very young child occupying three staterooms No. 8368 a port side aft balcony, No. 8690 an aft balcony and No. 1655 an internal virtual Balcony. The port side balcony was very roomy with a 4 seat couch. The aft balcony stateroom was rather restricted in size for the 2 adults and a small ...

We had cruised with Royal Caribbean before and liked the friendly, relaxed atmosphere on board. I agree with another post that the food in the Main Dining Room was not as nice or varied as it was last year so we ate in the Windjammer most nights and that was fine and always possible to find something we liked. We try and avoid School Holidays but still there were lots of children aboard. As much ...

We chose this cruise for the itinerary & pricing. We stopped in Amsterdam in advance & stayed overnight in Southampton.Embarkation went smoothly. We boarded the ship & went straight to The Windjammer. We had access to our cabins at 1:00 pm. The ship was amazing, the size & the layout. We were new to the inside promenade with shops and entertainment areas. 4 of us were in two virtual balcony cabins ...

Typically good RCCL ship with some caveats

We picked this ship sailing out of Southampton England for its fantastic itinerary; Portugal, Morocco, The Canaries, Madeira and Le Havre. The food was good to very good though some nights it was difficult to find something that appealed to me. The lunches were adequate and the breakfasts I ordered were made-to-order omelets which were fine. The room was a decent size. The cruse Director Clo ...

Beautiful Ship, Average Food

This is the first RCL cruise , we've done most other ship lines eg Carnival, Norwegian, Princess, HAL, MSC. The ship itself was excellent, and the cabin was larger than the other ships. Surprisingly, the food in the main dining room was average, with the meat items below average; would have rated it a 3 if not for the beautiful ship. The annoying thing was the constant upselling of their specialty ...

This was a back to back with the Mediterranean cruise. The ship was great. All the amenities we required. Smaller than Indy but that did not detract. We moved from a standard cabin to a disabled access cabin It was great to get the extra room for the scooter and the wet room The couple who had this cabin before had cleaned it from top to bottom as they were very disappointed with the ...

Excellent ship for adults, drinks very expensive.

Great choice of food at Windjammer and staff always going the extra mile to make you cruise memorable, good choice of activities but not the best ships if you have children under 4 years old. Returned to ship after 10 years and couldn't believe how much the price of drinks have increased, cheapest bottle of wine $34 going to $330., bottle drinks you are looking at least $8 for a can of ...
