If you are injured on a cruise ship beware

cabin 6298 is opposite a main cleaning storage cupboard where all the room attendants congregate. It is extremely noisy here from early in the morning and in the afternoon. I wouldn't recommend this room. The room was clean and well maintained. The food in the main dining room for breakfast was chaos queues out the door waiting for a seat every morning for a good 15 mins. Then table staff ...

We had previously cruised on the Navigator in 2016 and enjoyed it (13 Nights), despite the ship looking a little jaded in places, but the shows and the itinerary made up for the condition of the ship. However in 2017 the ship looks a little rougher, but the shows are identical and the staff are just not interested in being polite and happy. The itinerary had been cut by 3 port days, which meant ...

We were looking to return to Royal Caribean for a much needed holiday. Having previously had a wonderful experience with Royal Caribean over 16 years, we were very dissapointed to join the Navagator of the Seas and find a ship so tired in many areas and in need of major investment. The presentation and quality of the food in the dining room also had a great deal of room for improvement. Our ...

we picked this cruise to see places we have not been to. the public areas are decent, but the cabins stink. the food [gluten free] is not really their best. in fact neither is their regular menu. it got so we had the waiter, asst., head waiter @ our table most nights taking comments to get to the kitchen [hope it will help future cruisers]. boarding, on & off are simple easy & efficient, we carry ...

Embarkation at Southampton went like a dream and we were on the ship in minutes. We had been on the Navigator five years previously when it sailed around the Med out of Rome so were looking forward to seeing if there were any changes. Unfortunately, there were only bad ones. It seems that Royal Caribbean are now only interested in trying to make you spend as much as possible at every opportunity. ...

Disappointed with how the complaints were dealt with

On this ship I was very disappointed in the Casino staff and their uncaring attitude. The Casino is a designated smoking area on the ship and was used as one by those who did not use the machines or tables. I like the tables but could not stand very long in that area due to the smoke. So smokers had a choice but I did not matter as a non smoker. There are open decks on the ship. Surely ...

Disappointed with Royal Carribbean as a company.

This was our ninth cruise but our first cruise with Royal Carribbean and it was certainly not "cheap". Although we bought an All inclusive cruise it certainly was not as we found out it was for only house wine and beer. Also we understood that if we paid gratuities before sailing we would be able to have My time dining. i was just told "oh you have to do that before boarding .You have to stick ...

Embarkation went quite smoothly at Southampton. We had outside stateroom with porthole cabin number 2624. Quite spacious inside with wet room for my disabled husband who uses an electric wheelchair. Noticed immediately the absence of toiletries in the bathroom however we did have a small piece of cheap soap on the sink. Also noticed we had TWO t bags on the dressing table with the kettle. When I ...

The Ship: The major problem was that there were far too many passengers for some of the facilities on board. Getting a sunbed anywhere was sometimes impossible (and always if the sun was out!). There are the usual signs about not reserving sunbeds that most passengers totally ignored, there were often more towels than passengers on sunbeds. I complained without result. The bars were often so ...
