Excellent & Faultless!! We booked this cruise with a group of friends [agegroup 25 - 70 English] because it included the drinks package. One couple had only cruised with NCL and we wanted them to experience different standards. My brother is Black membership level we are Gold so knew what to expect. We made our own travel arrangements via our personal travel agent, my brother, cruise ...

Value for money cruise, great service, friendly and helpful staff. Plush cabins with pleasant décor. The ship is stunning, spotless, with a great variety of venues to relax and enjoy. Dining is good, although we do miss the ability to eat when we want with fixed time dining still being the norm and having to share a table is not what we prefer these days. However, MSC did an excellent job of ...

Great value cruise experience

I love this ship and i love MSC, I think people lose sight of the value for money you get with an MSC cruise. We have just done a one week northern europe cruise for £450 each including the Allegrisimo drinks package. The ship is beautiful, the staff were lovely on the whole, the food is very acceptable and way better than the majority of all inclusive hotels. The only downside for me is the ...

Not a very good cruiseline, in my opinion

MSC Splendida was a beautiful ship. It had the largest and nicest stateroom we have ever stayed in, and this was, I think, my sixteenth cruise. The biggest problem was with excursions. We arrived on ship and attempted to book excursions on Interactive TV. It NEVER worked the entire trip. I met with one employee at the excursion desk and he was rude, disinterested, and not helpful. I felt like ...

Cruising on a budget

We did this cruise mainly for the price and the convenience of departing from Zeebrugge. We cruised with our son (aged 2,5) and this was his second cruise. Let me start by saying that we had a very good week and really enjoyed ourselves. The criticism below are actually details on the cruise. We will sail MSC again if the price is right. Here are our findings: Embarkation at Zeebrugge: ...

Wished to visit the northern european destinations. At the time of boarding, the crew mistook us for yatch-club members and took us to a wrong cabin. Then, we were told that we have to buy the water bottles for drinking at the time of dinner. Later we came to know that water was included in our ticket. There was some code on our key card which said so. But not all dining/eating places on the ...

we would not recommend the food or service. the ship was covered in ramps, which made it impossible for my wheelchair to get over. the dining was terrible, if you has salad it was ok, if you had a hot dinner it was cold. my cabin was not wheelchair friendly and the banging was terrible. we only went to the casino and we did find some excellant staff. the port and shore excursions was for able ...

Beautiful ship spoilt by the food quality and service

Chose this cruise based on value for money, we are experienced cruisers and have been with several other cruise lines. This ship is beautiful but the food quality and service lets it down. Embarkation was not bad really, and our cabin was ready, that's a first for us on any boat. Our luggage arrived almost immediately, again very good, we have normally waited hours on other boats. Our balcony ...

If English speaking do not choose this cruise.

The travel Agency Arch Vacations chose this Cruise and ship. The cruise was to Ireland/Scotland/Germany. It had primarily Germans and Italians and only about 100 English speaking passengers. The travel agency should never book for English speaking persons. It catered to the Germans. The food was not very good and the entertainment and activities were lacking in every way. I would never go on this ...
