Excellent choice of ports. Princess has good value and consistent and organized product. Food is excellent but occasionally disappoints. Good coffee still seems to be a weakness although café bar at extra charge is a nice touch. Value added features are pushed and not good value for money especially excursions. You have to be careful as you can quickly find the bill for your holiday much higher ...
I cruised on the Sapphire to the Canary Islands this time last year. It was a great experience. The ship was then going onto Dubai and Singapore so I thought this year I’d do the London to Dubai leg through the Suez. It was considered 2 cruises- London to Rome where about half the boat got off and the Rome to Singapore although loads got off in Dubai.
I took the NEX bus from LHR T3 down to ...
We flew to London via Hong Kong, had New Years with a family member before spending two nights in Southampton.
We had booked a balcony cabin on C deck near the aft, it was very comfortable although was showing some signs of wear, the bathrooms definitely need updating. However we had a great Cabin Steward who went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed our cruise. The cabin was kept spotless ...
In late October 2018 my wife and I embarked on a 38-day Princess cruise from Southampton to Singapore via the Suez Canal, the choice of cruise was largely influenced by three of the ports of call.
Highlight number one was Malta and Valletta the capital, steeped in history and grand historic buildings this was a truly magnificent location and I would certainly like to return there one day. ...
Entertainment quality exceeded our expectations, especially magnificent dancers, lighting & sound effects and superb backing orchestra.
Excellent food and service in restaurants at night. Food in Horizon not quite so good, particularly no variety at breakfasts.
Service overall excellent with cabin steward and restaurant staff always cheerful and helpful.
Far too much emphasis on sales ...
The ports and length of cruise was why we decieded on this cruise. Wanted to see each one of the ports. Some excursions booked with the Princess and some through other companys.
Lo ved our large balcony. Lots of storage space. All our bags fit under our beds. Magnets hooks were a great idea for our walls to hold our laynards. Plenty of hangers for two women. food was good, but expected a ...
First experience of cruising for more than 17 nights. This cruise was. 44 nights with 4 night stay in Sydney.
The cruise was great. A few days of rough weather over bay of biscay (as expected). Sea sickness tablets worked a treat,
There were two ports we had to abort because of bad weather: bay of islands and Tonga.
This is something you have to expect when cruising which us beyond ...
Aurora. Jan 17. 21 nights
Our first time on Aurora, we booked not realising that this was the first leg of a world cruise (not that it made a huge amount of difference to us) and celebrating 180 years of the P and O company/cruise line
Another very competitively priced cruise
Embarkation at Southampton was slightly better than 12 months ago, however we arrived at our given time and ...
Embarkation when very smoothly we booked the princess bus from Victoria st station which was very close to our hotel and a great price. On arrival in Southampton our luggage was taken on board and walked straight into checkin. It took about 15mins and we were on board the beautiful Emerald princess. Our cabin which we had chosen on deck 5 interior was clean tidy and one of our best picks so far. ...
We chose this cruise because we wanted to sail the Suez Canal. We boarded the Emerald Princess in Southampton and we had a smooth check in. We had our Indian Visas and so this did not hold us up at all. The ships crew were fantastic, greeting us with a smile and hello wherever we were. We have sailed on this ship before so we knew our way around. After unpacking, lunch and the customary lifeboat ...
