The service in the Britannia restaurant was as great as always. But the weather across the Atlantic was dreadful. We were late into Bermuda and Port Canaveral. The Churchill cigar lounge was full of cigarette smokers and resembled the Dog and Duck pub rather than an intimate cigar lounge as it is advertised. We are diamond members.
Apart from our room leaking from a broken toilet next door for a week ( again) being moved to a room that had unstable floors for a night ( as it wasn’t fit for anyone to live in) terrible waiters who reached across the table and your meal to pick up your wine and smell it

Chose cruise on recommendation. Brittania Outside with Balcony on Deck 4. Cabin nice but not exceptional, shower particularly small. Steward did a good job. Corridors on several of the lower decks were at times smelly and were well in need of re-decoration. Main public areas were much better but our biggest criticism was more related to other guests. The checkin before boarding was efficient and fast.
Stateroom cat. BF with balcony at the 11th deck was very confortable and large enough altough the bathroom was so small but functional.

We booked this cruise 18 months ago as it was an excellent price and it was booked as our first ever cruise (we actually managed to fit in two before we went in the end)
The ship was beautiful. Lots of wood and Art Deco style, very classic as you would expect.
Our stateroom was nice but no nicer than what we had experienced with Princess or P&O earlier this year.

We chose this ship because it was recommended by a friend.
The ship is a good size ship and we expected Cunard to be of a high standard.
Cabin - good size.good size balcony. excellent housekeeping.
Buffet - good selection at breakfast, lunch and dinner. It was hit and miss as to whether the hot food was hot, tepid or cold.
