The bad service was from start to finish Cunard talk about pride and quality and high standards please let me tell you Cunard are fooling themselves if they think this is true twice i went on the Queen Mary 2 and 2 times they break my suitcase on loading a great way to start the holiday wasting time at the Pursers desk
I am sure that there are many happy customers but that is when nothing goes ...
Never again will we cruise with Cunard. Poor service, complacent staff who don't understand service-missed port. Very disappointed as we have always been very satisfied with Cunard on previous cruises.
We booked this short break having sailed with many other cruise lines including Cunard and have never had such a disappointing experience.
The cabin and cabin staff to be fair were excellent. ...
Embarkation was fine. The cabin was well presented and serviced well. Didn't get into Bruge because of bad weather. Entertainment was basic to say the least. Sometimes nearly impossible to get a drink ....even when sat at the bar. We ordered some sandwiches one lunchtime and they never arrived. The food in the Brittannia restaurant was cold and unappetising so we tried the buffet which was exactly ...
We have cruised with Oceania several times over the past several years and it is apparent that Oceania is in decline as an organization. We just competed two cruises on the Marina (Norway and British Isles), and though there are lots of good staff on the Marina, there seem to be corporate decisions that are having a strongly negative impact on the service we received lately.
First, there were ...
Booked it 3 weeks prior to departure, knew had a cabin with a metal frame balcony but when being checked in in Southampton was told my cabin had been changed to 5131.I did not remember agreeing to be "upgraded",after complaining to Cunard was told I did agree to it at the time of booking. At the time of booking I was also given a credit of $195 but on board was told as I did not register a card ...
I don't normally do reviews, especially bad ones so I apologise if it rambles instead of following some format.
Chose this cruise to travel with some friends, some issues were our fault as we did not give it as much research time as we would normally such as the ridiculous price of wine which we would not boost Cunard profits by paying for it,
5 formal nights on a 16 night cruise was too ...
I was on the Queen Elizabeth just before Christmas.
Embarkation was excellent.
However nobody greeted you on the ship and no welcome drink.
I found the cabin and it was ok.
Had a wander around the ship and it is a stunning looking ship.
Headed to the Lido deck for a damp sail away and was given a flag to wave for the filming of the ships dvd and the crew tried to get the music ...
We booked this holiday as first time cruisers thinking it would be a memorable and wonderful way to renew our wedding vows, see a few places and relax. Embarkation went smoothly. The room was like a small premier inn room but was clean and tidy and the balcony helped reduce the sense of being in a small space. Very quickly however it became clear we had booked into an overcrowded home for the ...
I booked this cruise for 4 people after having a taster cruise on the Victoria in 2015 which was beautiful however despite being advised that we would probably have an 'upgrade' we ended up feeling as though we had been down graded. The balcony was smaller and as we walked into the room past the bed my husband bumped his shoulder on the wall mounted tv due to lack of space. The room looked tired ...
We chose this ship because of the good reputation, but it turns out that all the people who said "How wonderful" not only had not travelled on the ship, but did not know anyone who had, so the Queen Mary survives on the slipstream of reputation
Our cabin 11,113 on the 11th deck was in an area that was so noisy, that it was not possible to gain a reasonable nights sleep
But the real cream on ...
