We chose this cruise because we wanted to experience the worlds biggest ship. It was the biggest but it was the biggest mistake we had made. We ate at 6pm in the Grande and the staff could not find our table 2nights out of 3 . We did find the food very nice but no better than other cruises. The Aqua theatre was not open and that was one of the main things we wanted to see. Greece show was ...

We have been wanting to go on Oasis of the Seas and hand to got round to it, so when The Harmony of the Seas released it was sailing from Southampton we couldn't wait to book it. Prior to going we had booked the drinks packages for our family but was unable to book for our son who was 20 and Royal Caribbean usually make you sign a waver for people under 21, this proved very difficult as the ...

First off I would like to say this is going to be a fantastic ship, but not everything was completed when we sailed on it. We recently cruised on allure, so for lots of things it's the same, but there are many changes, mostly improvements! We only had 3 nights so didn’t get to experience everything, but I’ll tell you about the things we did see! Check in took 25 mins from arriving in a taxi to ...

So we stayed on from the 1st cruise and still it's not the proper 'maiden' voyage. Just under 300 people stayed on and we queued to swap Seapass cards over. We keep our Seapass cards as souvenirs but they never delivered our first cruise cards back to us as they did on Ovation last month. There was nowhere to sit outside comfortably as workmen were frantically trying to get it finished. We ...

Hello I am new to this site but I thought I would like to tell about my trip on Harmony of the Seas this week There has been lots of negative reviews but I thought I would tell you all about what I thought . This is my first ever cruise I thought I would do a short one in case I didn't like it. I was celebrating my birthday so this was a treat for me and my friend as its her birthday soon as ...

This cruise was a first for us. We found the embarkation to be very easy. We were greeted and dealt with by a succession of friendly and efficient staff. The scale of the ship is slightly overwhelming initially. There are plenty of great design details to help you find your way about. Interactive screens, a large guest service area and models of the ship detailing what's on each deck. We liked our ...

When booking this cruise it was advertised as a ' 3 Night Short Getaway' to Cherbourg and back, we were aware it was one of the ship's first ever cruises but at no point were we told that this cruise was 'pre inaugural' and we were never advised that there may not be all facilities available and that their was a possibility of building work still going on. We got off lucky with the building ...

Second of two 'preview' cruises on Harmony - 3 nights to Cherbourg. We boarded with some trepidation having read reviews from the previous four night trip to Rotterdam, but have to say all was a lot better than we anticipated. Various factors - partly I think because we were expecting some disruption, and partly because I think the worst of the issues affecting the previous cruise had been ...

Trying out Harmony, the largest liner.

We chose this 'taster' three day cruise to see what the new Harmony of the Seas was like. It was advertised as the largest cruise liner. We had been on Oasis of the Seas and did not expect there would be many differences (Except for a few inches in length) but we found the twisting tube runs fun, as something new. The ship was really not ready to sail. There were workmen (mostly French) all ...

Harmony of the Seas Maiden Voyage

Harmony of the Seas Maiden Voyage 29 May – 5 June We booked this holiday back last year, mainly to experience the ship as the ports of call were of less interest, other than Barcelona where we stayed for 4 days after the cruise. I was going with my cousin whom had never cruised before and also suffered from motion sickness. After reading the bad press the ship received following the pre ...
