Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Anthem of the Seas

This cruise was actually chosen and booked by my wife and was part of a package which included 12 nights on board followed by 3 nights in a Room Only hotel and flights back to the UK. This is our second cruise this year and fourth since the re-start after covid and hopefully the last where we need a test. Given that we would be boarding on a Monday and needed a test we travelled down from ...

Could have added an extra port or two . We had one day at sea between both Halifax and Boston and Boston and Newark when it's only 8 hours direct. Could have added Lisbon or Vigo. Entertainment not that great, they spent $6 million on the two 70 theatre rotating tv screens when they could have made the dance floor twice as big. The Esplanade poor set of shops mainly jewelry and watches. No ...

We booked this cruise pre-Covid and did a Lift and Switch twice before finally making it onboard the Anthem of the Seas (or Hem of the Seas according to what the neon lights I viewed from my hotel nearby in the early morning hours of embarkation day spelled). We had an enjoyable, relaxing trip from Europe back to the USA, enjoying good food, great service, and fun activities to partake in onboard. ...

Review for a Canada & New England Cruise on Aurora

After the disappointment of Aurora in March, It was with mixed feelings that I returned for her cruise to Canada this autumn. But on the whole I needn’t have worried. Aurora has rediscovered what first attracted me to the ship ten years ago - the friendly atmosphere of a smaller ship, waiters and bar tenders who within days had learned what I wanted even before I did, a range of interesting ...

We were first time P&O passengers on the Aurora although we have sailed with other companies. What follows is our experience and is intended to review but also to answer questions other new P&Oers might have. Every cruise is unique and two people on the same ship at the same time can have a very different experience. So, if I have said something you do not agree with or dislike, please just accept ...

Great Ship; Great Itinerary - TA

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Celebrity Silhouette

Reflection is a great ship. We love S-Class Celebrity ships and this is one of the best. Has the full Sky Lounge instead of part of it cut out for suites. Great commons areas. two issues: seating is starting to get a bit worn and you sit very low in many of the chairs at a table. Not enough places for readers and card players. Need more open places so we aren’t taking up places for ...

Booked this cruise on a whim to get up over to Florida for an extended vacation. Overall the cruise was great seeing New York, Boston, Bermuda, Nassau and Fort Lauderdale. Firstly embarkation was really slow especially security. Once on the ship having already sailed on a Solstice class ship it was all very familiar. Our stateroom (concierge) was as expected, clean tidy and nicely appointed. ...

Silhouette is wonderful looks stunning and is very friendly. I had joined the cruise critic roll call before this sailing and had some great fun for about a month beforehand signing up for group activities including a joke the turned into the most amazing chocolate swap. Embarkation was brilliant my dad uses a walking stick and we were shown to the assistance line no wait and we were on the ...

This was a 3 segment cruise, 1. Southampton to New York via Le Havre, (this was Space Week). 2. New York sailing up the East Coast of USA and Canada returning to New York. 3. New York to Southampton. We had always wanted to visit the East Coast of USA and Canada and to hopefully see the fall colours. Just a note about fall colours as you progress north you may miss the colours ...
