I have cruised with Celebrity Cruise Lines for many cruises and this one ranks as the worst one ever. On this cruise the Blu restaurant was disgusting, typically in Blu the service is excellent especially at breakfast time with someone always going around with coffee and someone else with pastries but not on this cruise we always had to ask for more coffee and was only offered pastries twice most ...
It started to go wrong on the second evening at dinner. Three people on my table had the lamb which came with shards of bone in each mouthful. The Maitre D was not bothered. The cruise became steadily worse. We were never offered coffee after dinner. In Lisbon the whole of my coach asked for the tour to be ended early by taking us back to the ship. In the buffet "Waldorf salad" had the walnuts, ...
This was my first cruise experience which I most definitely will not be repeating.
Boarding at Southampton was like waiting to board a ferry, sat in the car along side the ship for an hour in an enormous queue.
The cabin was in need of updating but it was clean with comfortable beds.
The buffet can only be described as the equivalent of a motorway service station. Food being offered ...

Britannia 4th-18th August 2023 – Cruise B320
Experienced cruises across many lines, third cruise on Britannia
The omens weren’t good when we discovered that Britannia was an hour late docking at Southampton. However, boarding was smooth and our luggage was waiting for as at our cabin, deck 10 midships, a grade HA balcony cabin. We sailed on time and at speed to outrun ...
We have used P&O several times before and were pleased and therefore excited to take the whole family this time. We are still in shock at the shocking deterioration since our last cruise.
App did not work for restaurant bookings, they were all fully booked before we realised.
Pools were emptied for repairs and too deep for smaller children
No staff resulted in not everything being open ...
This date fitted with our diary and it was only after I booked I saw the bad reviews and noticed it was half term. However, I thought it wouldn't be too bad as the cruise was for two weeks and half term was only one week. How wrong was every mature couple on the ship, we had 1000 of them for the whole two weeks! The noise level was unbelievable; certain areas of the ship were 'no go areas' for ...
If you dont have a smart phone dont go. You have to prebook everything meals entertainment etc. You queue for everything especially reception I tried phoning this took over 20mins. The food is served warm never hot and is poor quality tough meat etc.. This company is about max profits for min outlay. Not enough crew you queue for everything. Its like a floating Butlins. I would not use P&O again ...
Too many passengers for the facilities. Obviously money over quality. Food was good when you could get in a restaurant, buffet was like a kids primary school. Teenagers walking through the ship including the buffet in just trunks and sunglasses. Staff hard to find when you want a drink (although the staff worked like trojans they were understaffed) Every meal accompanied by screaming kids, ...
Please see my Disgusting experience on the Arvia as just some of the bad examples how to make a disasterous cruise P&O should get rid of this ship as it is a disgrace to P&O name
P&O Should change the name from Arvia to Butlins at Sea as it is a more suitable name for this cruise ship
My Wife & I have been on lots of cruises mostly P&O and Princess we are Carnival Shareholders the main ...
Set sail on the 20th of May for a week, Multigenerational holiday. Our 2nd time on Ventura and will be the last. Very noticeable changes in a lot of areas since last sailing. Since our last sailing we were informed that Ventura was going to dry dock for refurb, this however was not the case as mostly this was for re painting and engine maintenance. The only obvious refurb was new carpet to some ...
