I want to thank Princess Cruises for removing any desire I might have to go on future cruises after my experience on Emerald Princess. I was shocked at how bad the overall service was compared to the other dozen cruises we have been on.
One example of poor service was the dining and beverage service. My wife and I ordered the Soda Package and to get a soda while you dined you had to tell a ...
This was our first cruise ,we chose it has it had a lot of stops which we could get off ,embarkment was brilliant we was in our state room by 12,,to busy to get of at st peters Guernsey people was still trying to get on water shuttles at 12 had to be bk by 3 so gave that amiss day three COVID outbreak captain ask if we would wear mask on ship many Americans didn't astound the ship or coac hi ...
We are Platinum members, having cruised with Princess before, and pre-pandemic they had become our favourites. This cruise was originally booked for November 2020 (to the Med) but was subsequently cancelled or rearranged 6 times. We were looking forward to it. I sweated over the Medallion app for a day and got all our information on it. I also booked 2 excursions and pre-booked the wifi.

We wanted to make a cruise around Great Britain, because it is close to our country and in Europe.
We learned to know Princess Cruises as a company with a good variety of food on clean vessels.
This cruise showed us, that this impression is nowadays not correct. The toilets were normally not cleaned, the dust an rubbish on the floors layed there for hours. The internet and also the medallion ...
Round UK cruise from Southampton. The ship is tired and has signs of wear and tear. The floor of the main pool deck is churned up. The metal trim in the dinner room ceilings are stained and rusted. Food is mediocre at best. Portion sizes are very small.
Princess have stopped most of the extra special luxuries that make cruising special. Consequently it feels more like a cross channel ferry. ...
We chose this cruise as we live close to Southampton, did not want the hassle of airports, and it went to ports/ cities we had not visited. We are both gluten and dairy free and had advised Princess well in advance. We had sailed on the Pacific Princess 4 years ago with no problems. Unfortunately Princess are on a cost cutting mission which includes the brand of gluten and dairy free products they ...
British Isles Cruise - the one where Princess cuts costs at every possible place! I think there should be a law against saying it stops at say Dublin for example and then you have to find you way there at extra cost because your miles away. You need to factor extra spends such as £10 to Edinburgh, $20 le Harve, £13 Belfast, Dublin around £6 , Glasgow not sure as booked a tour here, same in Cork. ...
Good bits;
Embarkation very quick and professional.
Ships decor top quality, has a rich feel in bars and main restaurants.
Entertainment very good, comedians, bands, violinists, singers something for everyone most times.
Service very good in bars and restaurants.
Good itinerary around British Isles and Le Havre.
Weather really good.
Not so good;
Food in main restaurant was ...
Currently on this cruise in cabin B322. Round Uk cruise.
Let me start with the positives. The staff are great. Very helpful and friendly.
And I personally like the outside deck layout. Our cabin is fine, not large but pretty standard. But unfortunately
that's where the good news ends.
The main complaint onboard is the dining, or more specifically the lack of dining.
Good food is in ...
My wife and I are on the top loyalty level with Princess Cruises as we have sailed over 16 times with them. Never have we been so utterly disappointed. The dining experience is a disgrace. Prior to our cruise as Elite passengers we were supposed to be able to choose our restaurant and reserve dining times each night by using the MedallionClass app. This we did and we booked the DaVinci restaurant ...
