We chose this 14 day cruise for its itinerary as we had only every visited Bruges before. Never started a cruise from Southampton due to the difficulties of getting down from the North driving with a stopover was our best option to ensure we got to the ship on time. This proved to be a good choice as it took 7 hours to get within 2 hours away the next morning due to traffic. The check in at the ...

Should you not read all this letter, you should read the last 4 paragraphs. my general feeling was it was an average cruise, nothing out of the ordinary. The ports were reasonably interesting but somehow the cruise was lacklustre. Food, entertainment was ok, me us in dining room were frankly boring and lacked flavour. Cruise ship tours were all overpriced and we did our own organisation, only did one ships tour to North Cape, no comentary, just a coach teip to North ...

Enjoyable cruise, comfortable ship - the real star of the cruise was the Norwegian scenery, particularly the wild and remote North Cape, and the midnight sun. The ship's staff were superb, polite, helpful, doing everything they could. I had an inside cabin, fine, comfortable and quiet. Food was very good, and queues not long - with the exception of the slightly dysfunctional and badly managed ...

Since we were in London in May of this year, we just flew in the day before the curise. We took a British Airways non stop from the West Coast of the U.S. and stayed overnight at the Sofitel Hotel at Terminal 5 Heathrow. This is a great hotel at the airport, easy for late night or early morning flights. Our journey to Southampton, was with a Princess transfer. We did have to take our cases to ...
