Disgusting and Totally Unacceptable

There are limited areas where you can find a sun lounger round the pool. We went to to Pavilion Pool starboard on Deck 9, several times, as that is where the sun was. The bad news is that Deck 10 starboard is smoking. Every day we would be made to feel sick and asthma triggered by the bank of smokers a few feet above puffing away. There was one particular 'gentlemen' who every day would take ...

This trip was an opportunity that came up and though it wasn't an 'ocean liner' I was very excited to experience a luxury cruise line. As a solo woman traveler who loves to dance, the knowledge of their dance hosts had me polishing up my dance shoes. Embarkation was short and painless. Though I had been scheduled for a 3:30 embarkation, I was nervous that would be too late to get settled prior ...

Fabulous Art Deco Experience

For my first ever cruise I wanted it to be an unforgettable experience on what I thought of as a "classic" ship, ie one with a black hull, white decks & red funnels. Which is why I ended up booking my maiden voyage on a Cunard ship! From the outset we were very impressed: the Art Deco interior appealed to us greatly, as did the attentive service and friendly staff. Not knowing whether I'd ...

1st Cunard experience and sad to say we have B2B booked with them in Aug/Sept 2019, 1st time ever I'm only half hearted about an upcoming cruise !!!!!! I'm sure the locations will cover any Cunard shortcoming. Let me start by saying that while nothing was really wrong it's just that there was nothing that stood out or made the cruise an unforgettable 5 (or even 4) star experience. We cruise ...

Beautiful ship, good facilities, lovely itinerary

We wanted a luxury ship for an 80th birthday celebration with an interesting itinerary and that’s what we got. We were in a Balcony cabin mid ships and we were able to enjoy room service breakfast on our balcony before excursions. The Britannia restaurant was excellent and all our meals were delicious apart from a tough piece of meat early in the cruise, but when I mentioned this to the head ...

Though Cunard are not the cheapest, the whole experience was slick and smooth. We booked a Britannia balcony cabin, with coach transfer as part of the deal. Excellent coach to Southampton with two stops on the way. Arrived on time and in cabin within 30mins. We chose earlyt dining (6.30pm) on table of 8 and had good company - we moved round the table as the cruise progressed. Formal dress ...

Great Experience

This was our sixth cruise on Cunard, but the first time we tried the Princess Grill category. We had the promotion that offered pre-paid gratuities, $800 on board spending money, and free drinks (under $12). When you deduct the value of these benefits from the price of a P1 category cabin, it wasn't all that much more than a regular balcony cabin For some reason, this category on this cruise was ...

Just back from 17 nights first time on this ship but have travelled with Cunard previously on QM2 transatlantics. Amazing boarding experience no waiting at all we were in our cabin within 20 minutes from leaving the car. First thing that struck us about Elizabeth was the ceilings were lower & consequently fewer steps between each deck which meant we were less exhausted on arriving in the ...

Superb Princess Grill Experience on the Queen of Brown

Thoroughly delightful! Our second cruise (and for me, my 11th Cunard cruise/crossing since 1977) in QUEEN ELIZABETH numbers among the very best… in all departments and for all good reasons. This was our first Princess Grill experience in QE having enjoyed the Grills in QE2 and QM2 and I’d have to rate it the best (even more than QM2 Queens Grill) in service, cuisine and especially the “ship ...

Good cruise, but no better than the competition. Expensive wine!

No real complaints, comparable to P&O and royal carrabian, but with all the "white star" service promotion we expected Cunard to be better! Not the case here. At this level I expect good service and high quality food and entertainment. Yes it was good, but no better than other Cruise lines. I was expecting this to be another step up and it wasn't. We didn't feel looked after as much either. The ...
