Our cabin was allocated I would advice anyone that wants a lay in to avoid all cabins on any floor in this location as it had a metal strip on the floor in the corridor so every time room service went passed with breakfast everything rattled , it was also opposite the laundry shoot. Can I say right from the outset that we had a terrific holiday. We had no complaints about anything to do with the ship or Cunard. Well apart from the toast that is. I take toast very seriously indeed and the anaemic, anorexic slices of roofing tile that masqeraded as that most delightful of breakfast accompaniaments were an absolute disgrace. My wife and I joined Cunard's Queen Elizabeth for her 'Maiden Festive Debut': a 22 night Caribbean. Check-in was relatively swift though there was a short wait of some thirty minutes, once through the check-in desks, while some final onboard procedures were cleared.
