I have cruised with Celebrity Cruise Lines for many cruises and this one ranks as the worst one ever. We had not cruised with Celebrity in twenty years (the last being on the Infinity in Alaska) so therefore not in their Solstice class ships, so it was hard to give a true comparison, except to say that by and large this cruise was great value for money!

It started to go wrong on the second evening at dinner. Three people on my table had the lamb which came with shards of bone in each mouthful. The Maitre D was not bothered. The cruise became steadily worse. We were never offered coffee after dinner. In Lisbon the whole of my coach asked for the tour to be ended early by taking us back to the ship.
