Unfortunately we had to miss the last several days of the cruise due to a death in the family, but while on board everything was fantastic. We had an aqua class cabin which was very comfortable -great shower!-and ate at Blu every night. The food was fantastic as was the wait staff. Boarding was a breeze and the Celebrity staff really helped us out when we learned that we had to fly home early. We ...

The food in the restaurants was great, always a good choice and the servers were fast and friendly. Our cabin was kept immaculate at all times, the ship didn't feel too busy we could always find a quiet area and even had the indoor pool to ourselves at times. The bar staff were attentive and always happy to help with choices based on our preferences. The shows we attended were good and varied, it ...

The Celebrity Eclipse is the nicest Celebrity ship we have sailed. The common areas are beautifully appointed and the cabins feel fresh. There is a large library on two floors with comfortable seating. The self serve dining room is set up very well with good signage for different foods. The Theater is large with easy viewing and the main dining room is very nice. The food was excellent. The best ...

Having done a few cruises with other cruise lines and this one being the first with Celebrity, it definitely goes to the top of the list as my favourite ship. From the moment we stepped on board greeted with a glass of bubbles, we had a fabulous time. The food was excellent - the evening meals in the Moonlight Sonata restaurant (main dining room) were the best I have ever had in terms of ...

We have sailed on Eclipse 4 times, we have always been happy with everything except one thing . This time when we went to the life boat drill, what a shambles that was for everyone , I'm afraid this needs to be changed and quickly. It was much better when everyone went into the theatre to see the demonstration, I don't think it was presented well at all with tiny screens You could'nt see ...

I chose this cruise for the convenient dates and the itinerary, the Canaries being a favorite destination of mine. This was my first time with Celebrity. Embarkation and disembarkation were exemplary from my standpoint, the only downside being that breakfast on the last day in the Ocean View Cafe was a bit sparse with staff trying hard to keep up with the demand; this was at 7 in the morning. ...

We chose this cruise as we wanted to leave from Southampton, and wanted some autumn sunshine Arrived at Southampton easily Journey took 3 and a half hours , worst part was the traffic jam for Ikea ! Checked in swiftly and was onboard with a glass of fizz before 12 Had lunch in the Oceanview cafe , cabin was ready by 1 so we took our bag to the room and put the passports etc into the ...

We (my 18 year old son and I) went on the celebrity eclipse canaries cruise on 28/9/17 from Southhampton. Embarking was very well organised and we were soon heading up to the main cafe type self service oceanview cafe for lunch.( I booked with Visioncruise and I knew from watching that John Cooper chap on TV that the law of the sea was to attend the buffet on embarking!) Huge selection of very ...

It was visiting Cities I have not been to before. I wanted to sail from Southampton and not fly. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and find travel difficult these days. Everything regarding Boarding and Departing was good. People in wheelchairs were looked after but people with illnesses like mine or MS struggled to wait for Shuttle buses. Could have been better. I saw people return to the ...

This was our first cruise and were celebrating a special birthday and wedding anniversary. We chose Celebrity on the strength of the solid reviews, so am aware of the importance of these where literally millions of pounds can be won or lost. Here's my account. We travelled down the evening before the cruise and stayed in Winchester some eight miles away. This was due to the fear of us missing ...
