It was visiting Cities I have not been to before. I wanted to sail from Southampton and not fly. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and find travel difficult these days.

Having been on quite a few Cunard cruises, we wanted to try a different cruise line and this trip and it's timing fitted in with other plans. We didn't know that the Eclipse sailed the weekend of the boat show and wondered why we couldn't find an overnight hotel room in Southampton when we started looking in March. Insolent silent response on 2 occasions when advising that food in self- service cafeteria was warm.
A spoof Bond juvenile silly video that was greeted with jeers & consequently was forgettable.
Just these two factors made me feel very insecure.

We entered via Dock Gate 10, were directed to the ABParking car park and left our cases with them for boarding.
