After spending 4 wonderful days in London at the Grosvenor Hotel, we made the trip from London and back to Heathrow via National Express buses and both trips were very punctual and an easy taxi ride to the cruise ship pier. The buses were very clean with wi fi and the driver assisted with the luggage.
We had a Sky Suite and dining was in Luminae. The menus (breakfast, dinner and lunch on sea ...
Everything was fantastic. The ports of call were fantastic. I liked all of them very much, however Bergen was quite rainy and cold. That made it a little difficult to get out and find our way around very easily. Flam and Geiranger were a little more remote and rugged. Alesund and Stavinger were bigger towns than I expected. All in all it was truly the trip of a lifetime for my husband and I. ...
The Eclipse is a beautiful ship. There was a very noticeable engine vibration on all decks aft which was especially bothersome while dining. Veranda stateroom on deck 7 was clean and comfortable. Cabin steward was very helpful. The food in MDR was very good. First time in a long time that I ordered a medium rare steak and it was actually medium rare. They could use a thicker cut of steak in ...
I am not going to add much to what's already been said if you want the best put Celebrity to the test. You will not be disappointed

This was our first visit to the Norwegian Fjords, we took all weather cloths being May, however what a week blue skies and sunshine all the way, which helped make the ...
The unusually fantastic weather made this Fjords cruise a real treat. The area is stunningly beautiful and should be on everyone's bucket list.
The Eclipse is getting on a bit long in the tooth now but still looks fresh, we were on her about five years ago and apart from the new Luminae restaurant she still looks the same. Celebrity train their people well and the service was as as good as ever ...
This was our 2nd time on Celebrity - first time on the Eclipse and Solstice class ships. Here are my thoughts by area -
Embarkation - we arrived at the Southampton port around 1:30pm - easy check-in and we were on the boat within 20 minutes or so - one of the quickest check ins we have ever had.
Ship - Grade A+
We were very impressed with the ship - clean, great condition, well laid out, ...
We chose this cruise for the destination and Celebrity Eclipse as I have travelled on her before and wanted my husband to see her......he was not disappointed!!
Cruise director John Grantham would get my award for for best staff member. What an entertaining man he is. Never to busy to chat and make you feel like everything was being done just for you.
Celebritys own shore excursions are ...
Been lucky enough to have been on a few cruises mainly with Royal Caribbean and a once only (regrettable) on P&O and on every ship we've been on people have advised us to try the Eclipse so we've been waiting for this
From the very start everything was superb boarding was quick and easy due to allotted time slots
On boarding the ship is very clean very glamorous and the staff are super ...
Chose this cruise for the itinerary. It was our first experience with Celebrity and will probably be our last. Have cruised 10 times with other lines and found Celebrity to be lacking in quality of food, entertainment and the delightful surprises that other ships have.
The boat was clean and comfortable but the food was so ordinary for a cruise. Usually you have lots of variety, but it ...
Just returned from an excellent 8 night cruise to the Norwegian Fjords. We last sailed on the Eclipse three years ago but the standards are still very high in our opinion. We had a sunset balcony cabin which was at the back of the ship and excellent for seeing the views as we sailed out of each port. Food onboard was excellent in both the main dining and ocean view café. We did try the Tuscan ...
