Wonderful cruise

We chose this cruise because we wanted to go to Maderia. The timing was right and flying in and out of Heathrow was easy. I enjoyed it even more than I expected. Boarding and disembarkation went quickly and easily. A huge difference from our Celebrity cruise out of Amsterdam last year. We tried to avoid the buffet for most meals. It's just too crowded. When we did eat there the food was ...

The food in the restaurants was great, always a good choice and the servers were fast and friendly. Our cabin was kept immaculate at all times, the ship didn't feel too busy we could always find a quiet area and even had the indoor pool to ourselves at times. The bar staff were attentive and always happy to help with choices based on our preferences. The shows we attended were good and varied, it ...

The Celebrity Eclipse is the nicest Celebrity ship we have sailed. The common areas are beautifully appointed and the cabins feel fresh. There is a large library on two floors with comfortable seating. The self serve dining room is set up very well with good signage for different foods. The Theater is large with easy viewing and the main dining room is very nice. The food was excellent. The best ...

We have been cruising for almost 10 years, but this was our first time on Celebrity. We chose this particular cruise for the chance of some sun late in the year, and also based on good reviews for the ship. However, we were disappointed. EMBARKATION/DISEMBARKATION : Southampton, quick and easy, very efficient. SHIP : Clean, modern, and generally well maintained. However, we found it ...

This being our 3rd cruise on the Eclipse we knew what to expect, and she is still in great shape. We generally book a balcony cabin but this being our 3rd cruise this year we thought that we try an economy inside on deck 8, cabin 8272 and I must say it was a pleasant surprise, very roomy with a large TV and plenty of channel options. we would certainly book this cabin again in a heart beat. ...

Unfortunately we had to miss the last several days of the cruise due to a death in the family, but while on board everything was fantastic. We had an aqua class cabin which was very comfortable -great shower!-and ate at Blu every night. The food was fantastic as was the wait staff. Boarding was a breeze and the Celebrity staff really helped us out when we learned that we had to fly home early. We ...

The ship and her crew could not be faulted. Having again booked Aqua Class we expected the food in the Blu restaurant to be of a similar standard to our past experiences. Unfortunately this was not the case and we found the menu to be somewhat repetitive and on a number of occasions ordered from the main dining room menu, which was in fact of a higher standard. If we sail with Celebrity ...

If you are thinking of a cruise please take my advise and stay well clear of Celebrity Cruises Simply awful! We have been with many other cruise lines and had great experiences over the years but this one was the one that broke the camels back Had a very disappointing cruise in Jan 2017 with Celebrity Millinium (Shang Hai to Hong Kong) and even after receiving a £4,000 compensation ...

CELEBRITY ECLIPSE - October 18th to 27th Southampton to Canaries. First time on Celebrity cruises following several recommendations from cruising friends and people we have met during our cruising career. “You must try the 5 star cruise line” or something along those lines. Which we were keen to do and therefore this October cruise which coincided with our wedding anniversary seemed to me to ...

Having done a few cruises with other cruise lines and this one being the first with Celebrity, it definitely goes to the top of the list as my favourite ship. From the moment we stepped on board greeted with a glass of bubbles, we had a fabulous time. The food was excellent - the evening meals in the Moonlight Sonata restaurant (main dining room) were the best I have ever had in terms of ...
