We sailed the Caribbean Princess from Southampton 9/22/17 to Ft Lauderdale 10/7/17. It was our 45th cruise, but first transatlantic. We used Princess’ EZ Air for Virgin Atlantic BOS to LHR and enjoyed a day in London pre-cruise.

The cruise itinerary was fine. We planned our own excursions.
Caribbean Princess is a little tired, but we know that when we booked. The beds and bedding were new and great. The bathroom tiles are old but all edges and corners in shower have been resealed so there is no mold.

We enjoyed the ports of call except for missing Le Havre on the 12 day British Isles portion of the cruise. But the ship needs some serious work done on it. We chose this cruise because of the ports and itinerary. The ship did not have an indoor pool or theatre. Both were outdoors. Going to the northern UK is too cold for outdoor amenities, so this was truly disappointing to us.
