We chose this cruise for itinerary. Unfortunately the second half ports were changed before final payment. We thought long and hard about canceling. Sorry now we didn’t. We flew to Heathrow on Princess EZ air. Flights went well. We landed at 6:15 am and it took almost two hours to get off the plane and through passport control. A nightmare. We found our princess transfer easily and were ...

We got an unbelievable offer to take this cruise, and truly could not pass it up! This was my 15th cruise with Princess and my husband's 13th. I have to say, Princess' EZAir is amazing! We got a phenominal price for the airfare and had a good flight over to England. We opted to take Princess' transfer from Heathrow to Southampton and was very pleased with it as well. We boarded the ship and ...

We sailed the Caribbean Princess from Southampton 9/22/17 to Ft Lauderdale 10/7/17. It was our 45th cruise, but first transatlantic. We used Princess’ EZ Air for Virgin Atlantic BOS to LHR and enjoyed a day in London pre-cruise. Overall we had a very good, relaxing time. We love sea days; the first two were very cool, but the other eight were fantastic. We relaxed on a Lido Deck chaise ...

Tired old ship with tired old onboard activities & substandard shore excursions

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Caribbean Princess

Pricing: Princess originally offered this 5-port transatlantic voyage at $2k each for midship balcony cabins. Upon eliminating 2 ports and substituting 1 port, the balcony price reduced to $1,500. We were told the skipped ports were because the ship was operating on only one engine instead of two, and could achieve only 18 knots instead of the normal 20-something.Onboard we learned that some ...

The itenary started out good, but due to circumstances beyond their control we were unable to complete the tours originally booked. The traditional dining food was good, the menu unexciting and the service was disappointing. Our CABIN(E214) was situated a floor above the Princess theatre and as a result we were bombarded with continual noise from about 11 am to 11 pm. Also the cigarette smoke ...

British Isles Cruise-terrible food

The cruise itinerary was fine. We planned our own excursions. Caribbean Princess is a little tired, but we know that when we booked. The beds and bedding were new and great. The bathroom tiles are old but all edges and corners in shower have been resealed so there is no mold. All staff members, especially our room steward, were extremely friendly and helpful. The food was terrible. ...

Ports of Call great---ship needs some work done on it.

We enjoyed the ports of call except for missing Le Havre on the 12 day British Isles portion of the cruise. But the ship needs some serious work done on it. The air conditioning didn't seem to work all through the night --we would wake up sweating. The shower water temperature was never regulated. It would go from Hot to cold & back again after just a couple days into the cruise. I reported ...

Great itinerary- ok cruise experience

We chose this cruise to celebrate our 35 wedding anniversary and our friends 45th . We have sailed with princess over 25 times. The plus- our cabin attendant Ariel was wonderful, the rest was as expected. Just ok, the food was ok, the service was ok, the entertainment was pretty good but there was nothing to go wow about. Out of wine in vines and dining room - how a ship could run out of lots of ...

British Isles cruise on Caribbean Princess ship.

We chose this cruise because of the ports and itinerary. The ship did not have an indoor pool or theatre. Both were outdoors. Going to the northern UK is too cold for outdoor amenities, so this was truly disappointing to us. The staterooms, food, condition of the ship and service were good. The staff was friendly and helpful. We felt safe and cared for. The ship excursions were quite ...

We cancelled an Oceania cruise with similar ports to cruise with Princess and two other couples. We are all retired and selected a non-peak date and took our chance with the weather. It was first cruise with Princess. The port selections were wonderful. Due to bad weather we skipped channel islands but picked it up again on the back end due to La Harve being cancelled. We were disappointed ...
