The whole experience , from arriving at the terminal was excellent , yes you have to queue, to go through all the procedures, But don’t forget you have to Queue at any Airport , Once on board everything is beautiful, it has recently been refurbished, once your dining etc has been sorted you can get on with enjoying yourself , the MDR are have great menu choices , breakfast , lunch and dinner ...

Chose this cruise for our golden wedding anniversary. Could not use the app. All the shows were booked. Could not join what they call a virtual Q for breakfast and dinner. Total shambles and a waist of good money for the five of us. Final statement all wrong with about £300 on it which has nothing to do with us. I have emailed P and O about it a week ago. I know they will not reply. We ate in the ...

This wasn’t our first cruise so we had a rough idea of what to expect and how things should work. Having driven for about 4 hours we arrived at our allotted time only to be told we had to drive elsewhere, off site, to be covid tested, why weren’t we informed about this earlier? On arrival we were told the testing reporting system had crashed and we would have to wait, which we did for about 40 ...

This was my first cruise on P and O previously sailed with RC and Celebrity. Boarding - arrived for covid test which was quick and efficient. Unfortunately there was no information on what to do next. We found out by chance that you went to the terminal and completed all pre boarding checks before getting covid results. So basically hundreds of people crammed in a tiny area, hopefully ...

We have holidayed on P&O cruises at least once a year, sometimes twice, since 2009 so we were delighted that after the enforced Covid break we were at last able to sail again on board a staycation cruise. Sadly however we were somewhat disillusioned with the experiences we had on our return to sailing with P&O. It should be said that we expected things to be different and that there would be ...

our experience (staycation 1st August 2021) as a family of four adults in two un-obstructed balcony rooms - we had previously attended MSC virtuosa (staycation 10th July 2021) some of the mishaps: 1. first day of freedom dining we asked server politely, John (table 195 - Penisula) if it was possible if we could finish the ordered three course meal by 10.30pm to attend the theatre. we arrived ...

I booked this cruise because it matched up with when I could travel. As i was using the CPS parking, I had to go to the Mayflower Terminal for a Covid test. This took about 2 hours, most of that was waiting in a queue. Although it took a long time, the process worked smoothly and was very well organised. After my test I drove to the Ocean Terminal and waited for the car to be checked in. ...

The safest i have felt for over a year . Ship was only 50% full due to rules , felt like the ship feels when you stay on board when in a port of call. Always found a lounger ,seat , we had a table on our own as everyone did . SO good we booked again ,the only chance of feeling like your on a top grade cruise. Food was great crew were great. So logistics as it can be a bit complicated , The ...

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Britannia

We chose this cruise because it was perfect for a much needed break. We had previously sailed with many other cruise liners and felt that we always referred back to Ventura and Azura. Service had always been commendable however, Britannia did not seem to uphold this. Waiters were hard to get hold of for refilling your water glass and after having waited 20 mins with empty coffee cups, we ended up ...

Wouldn’t choose Britannia again

We embarked at Southampton and this was quite smooth and uneventful but when we were issued our cruise cards we noticed our dining arrangements had been changed to a table of 8 ? I asked and the attendant said you’ll have to modify it on the ship, On the ship we made this our first order of business when we went to the restaurant to check our table we were told we cannot adjust this you should ...
