Two weeks on the transatlantic, repositioning, cruise gave us 8 beautifully restful sea days with very calm seas throughout. P&O run an extraordinarily smooth operation in every department whether it is embarkation, entertainment or restaurants. Without exception, all of the stewards, waiters, reception, croupiers et al were efficient, friendly and often went out of their way to go the extra mile. ...

We have absolutely loved the ship, some may dislike the absence of the mid ship staircase but it did not worry us at all. Very new modern surroundings and luxury furnishings. Excellent food Egg Benedict was always cold (tried 6 times) and once hard boiled Lobster twice and nice Fish and curry very good Entertainment was not at all our taste, which is the shame, only 2 acts were good ...

I thought I would focus my review on the features of this lovely new ship I loved the most. Overall the interior of the ship is stunning. The variety of finishes of wood, fabrics, metal and marble used with effective lighting accents plus the wide, spacious passageways are terrific. Just back from transatlantic and 2 week cruise round the Caribbean on Britannia. Had a great time. The call at Tenerife on the way out was caused by a problem with the port in Madeira - not something P & O could have foreseen. The ship is very elegant, and,yes, the layout is different from the rest of the fleet - but the layout inside was well designed so the size of the ship is not too ...
