I chose this cruise specifically for the destinations. I only found out after booking this cruise that it was a Strictly come dancing cruise. What a bonus!
11 of us travelled down in 3 cars. Upon arrival our luggage was taken from us by efficient and friendly attendants who then drove away and parked the cars for the duration of the 2 weeks holiday. Easy and stress free and well worth the ...
We chose this cruise as keen fans of 'Strictly' and had been on the Britannia last year on a similar cruise.
Food was good usual standard for P&O. We had freedom dinning and ate mainly in the Peninsular. Good service...friendly staff.
We ate one night in the Epicurean...well worth the £28pp cover charge. Good for a special evening and we celebrated a birthday. Maitre de was a little grumpy ...
This was my first cruise with P&O and will be my last , we booked the cruise ship because my wife had always wanted to go on one , and my parents had been on loads of cruises and said how luxurious it was .
The embarkation was efficient and the staff were helpful , we were able to go to our cabin straightaway and were met by our cabin steward who was very helpful .
On our way to the safety ...
We have cruised twice before with Princess and Royal Caribbean and decided to give P&O a chance.
We had heard that P&O were more formal than many other cruise lines but found that this was not the case.
Apologies if this review isn't 'professional' as this is the first review I have written for anything.
The motivation for this really stems from reading some negative reviews this year on ...
The upside? Check in was like clockwork, our cabin (inside) was spacious and well equipped and staff were plentiful, friendly and well trained.
The downside? Most everything else! The entertainment was generally poor and the programme seemed only geared to enriching the cruise line (learn about wrinkles and then buy treatments) and so pensioner based. Then silly stuff like the bar most people ...
We have just returned from a lovely cruise aboard the Azura down to the Canaries.
Food in the MDR’s and buffet were excellent. We also went to Sindhu, the Glasshouse and the Beach House. Enjoyed them all.
Entertainment in the evening was of the usual high standard, and we were unable to get around to see all the acts. We were however a little disappointed with the daytime offerings. But ...
First time with p&o cruises we will never go again, boat just lacks finish, food wasn't very good very poor at some times, vegetables were always hard and not much choice in buffet areas, cheese and biscuits were terrible little pieces of so called cheese and no fruit at all.Sindhu restaurant was very good, glass house parfait was horrible. We spoke to various people during our two weeks and they ...

CCD cruise , enjoyed the same trip last year so booked again
Very lucky with weather , previous few weeks had been very wet and windy but as soon as we entered the Med the sun came out and it stayed that way until the final sea day.
Select dining excellent , brilliant service all round.
Quality of food pretty good considering the overall cost of the trip.
Lido deck port side ...
We chose this cruise as it was at the right time of year for our school holidays, went to the places we wanted to go and we got a great deal on a balcony cabin.
We flew from Perth Western Australia to Heathrow, and had a transfer to Southampton.
We arrived in Southampton and put our bags in and went to the local shops to get phone sim cards and shop.
The cruise was fantastic, the kids ...
We chose this cruise to med due to no flight and husbands disability’s needed wheelchair, unable to take scooter as booked wrong cabin so had to push husband around for a fortnight , annoying because scooter smaller than wheelchair , explained this to p&o but not sympathetic , we had s superior deluxe balcony cabin plenty of room for scooter which we explained breaks up for ease. Therefore ...
