Review for a Australia & New Zealand Cruise on Arcadia

I’m not sure where to start as there are so many points to raise. Let’s start with the cabin. Balcony cabin (accessible) I’m confined to a wheelchair chair as any movement of the ship and I will fall, although I can walk with a walking frame or wheeled walker. On arrival at the cabin we had to request that the chair and table be removed as there were insufficient space for my wheelchair. On ...

The Dream of A Lifetime Turned into a Disappointment of a Lifetime

Review for a World Cruise Cruise on Queen Mary 2 (QM2)

What a disappointment. Destinations were changed at least three times and itineraries cancelled at the last minute due to the coronavirus. Independent travelers were treated like second class citizens and given NO ASSISTANCE whatsoever from the QM2's staff. Passengers were forced to pay thousands of dollars to change flights countless times. The ship offered NO help to those passengers who did ...

Never again with Cunard

Review for a World Cruise Cruise on Queen Victoria

We went on the worldwide cruise with Cunard in Jan 2019 and have vowed never to cruise with this company again. The ship was tatty and the furnishing were mediocre. Air con was cold throughout the ship and you could not turn this off in your stateroom. It would have been nice to have been able to open our balcony door but if we did this the air con went into ‘overdrive’ and dripped. I am sure ...

Some Cruises should carry “Government Health Warnings”

My wife and I have just returned from the first two and a half legs of a QM2 world cruise. We were both in excellent health when we boarded this vessel but are now both suffering from coughs which we caught on QM2. I started coughing on 6th day of a 39 day cruise and although I paid to see the ships doctor the best he could do was offer a cough medicine, In Cape Town we did manage to get ...

The Princess Ship that ‘Lost it’s Crown’

Review for a Australia & New Zealand Cruise on Emerald Princess

Please be patient in the reading of this comprehensive review which has taken a long while to compile due to the unwillingness of various sources to explain their actions (inactions) whilst on-board this cruise. Rather regrettably very little input from Princess Cruises themselves to explain their failings has not helped and that their only offering of their ‘sincere apologies’ (5 times over in ...

PRINCESS CRUISES HAS TOTALLY LOST US AS A CUSTOMER!

Review for a Trans-Ocean Cruise on Emerald Princess

It would take us some hours to list all the issues (from a customer’s viewpoint) that need immediate addressing by Princess, as a result of our experiences during the 48 day Southampton to Sydney cruise on the Emerald Princess, but here are just a few to start with, just off the top of our head: UPGRADING TO MINI SUITE: When we originally booked the cruise, we wanted a mini-suite but were ...

Worst Cruise in a Lifetime of Cruising

Review for a Trans-Ocean Cruise on Queen Victoria

This was the first half of the 2016 world cruise. The main problem was the entertainment staff. There was very little organised activities, and those that were were aimed at 6 year olds! These included a craft activity of making rubbings of a dollar to remember you had been to the USA. Initially there were in excess of 50 plus wanting to do a craft activity, at the end of the leg there were three ...

Arcadia- South America and Pacific Adventure

Review for a Australia & New Zealand Cruise on Arcadia

Assuredly a very damning summary - but we disembarked from Arcadia on the completion of this voyage very disappointed at what we had endured for so long. We are not new to cruising, nor are we new to Grand Voyages - but this was our first experience of Arcadia and of P&O -and it will certainly be our last. Anyone who has booked, or is contemplating booking a 'Grand Voyage' cruise on P&O's Arcadia ...
