We choose this company initially for the ease of travelling to Tilbury. So glad we did. We had a wonderful trip. It was my first every cruise, my mum's second. The staff were so friendly, the entertainment was great. We enjoyed eating in both Restaurants. This was a thoroughly enjoyable cruise. I'll start by saying we did not suffer any of the problems mentioned by other reviewers, regarding air conditioning or toilets not working. Our only real gripe was the embarkation and lack of information from the staff. It appears that we all got held up as they were waiting for late arriving coaches to appear before they would book us in. Parking - could it be closer? Really convenient. We had booked with CMV, which sadly went under due to Covid, so when Ambassador rose from the ashes, using a ship that CMV had planned to adopt, we decided to book for our first-ever cruise. We wanted a small ship, which Ambience is, with generally adult passengers. We were not disappointed. Food was excellent, both in the MDR and in the Borough Market buffet.
