This was our first cruise with Saga, having only done one other cruise on the Queen of Elizabeth to Norway nearly 3 years ago. Once we had navigated through the covid tests the welcome aboard was excellent with a crew member showing us to our cabin. We chose the cruise to try out the newish Saga vessel for a cruise to the Med in good weather with several interesting ports of call all of which the cruise provided. My husband and I are both in our seventies and we have never considered a cruise with Saga before. The last five cruises we have have taken have been with Azamara or Oceania, but we were attracted by the idea of sailing on the Spirit of Discovery as she seemed to incorporate all that we like about a cruise ship.
