This was our 5th cruise with Saga and the 2nd this year in 2023. For this voyage we had breakfast in our room or the balcony as we had the space and so missed the chaotic crowds in the restaurants. Everyone for some reason wants to eat at 09.30 even though the place closes shortly after. If you go earlier it is a lot easier. When at a destination, we know when the others are getting off ...

This was my first cruise with Saga but I have done several other cruises with various cruise lines. Having taken into account all that is included on a Saga cruise it was the best deal for me as a solo traveller. The door to door chauffeur service to Dover was a good start to what proved to be a memorable holiday. Insurance was included, tips, drinks package, Wifi, four excursions, speciality ...

Review for a Europe - British Isles & Western Cruise on Spirit of Adventure

I put down a deposit on a pair of Saga cruises in March 2020 for a 2021 cruise date. Poor timing, eh? It wasn't until three years later that I finally boarded the Spirit of Adventure to go on two different back-to-back cruises than I had initially booked. I chose Saga not so much for the itineraries but for the ship. And for what I had read about how they welcome solo travelers. I was not ...

As first time Saga cruisers we didn't know what to expect. We enjoyed our cruise immensely. We were very impressed by all aspects of the cruise. We loved the Spirit of Adventure's interior decor. Our cabin was spotlessly clean, everything in pristine condition and it was very comfortable. The crew were outstanding. Always cheerful, smiling, nothing was ever too much trouble. The food ...

I chose this for the excellent itinerary which it was. Excellent port stops; beautiful ship with plenty to do. Lots of daily activities if you are a social person and enjoy trying new things like dance classes, trivia games, lido parties. The shows were excellent as was the comedy. Casino was also fun and the dealers and managers were all very friendly as were most of the ...

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Disney Magic

Chosen to take grand children on a holiday, originally intended to be 2 years ago but deferred because of Covid. Although Disney Magic is the oldest in the fleet, she is an elegant well appointed ship of a comfortable size, there were 2100 guests on board for this sailing, neatly full. Firstly the gripes: Disney’s chosen health partner Prenetics need to up their game and improve the website. ...

The worst holiday I have ever had!

Review for a Europe - All Cruise on Carnival Pride

From start to finish this holiday was awful and caused me more stress than I ever want to experience again. Before going we had to fight for every bit of information, we couldn't plan anything as we just couldn't get the information we needed. On arriving on board I was very excited as so many people had such great stories about cruising, only to find an old, tired and worn ship that had ...

Review for a Europe - All Cruise on Bolette

We travelled on Bolette's second voyage in the summer and were so impressed that we booked on board for this one. A voyage to the Canaries is always one of our favourites as it is around two weeks and is usually a sunshine cruise at whatever time of year. Check in at Dover was simple and we were pleased to find that the 'probes' used in the Covid test were much more comfortable to use than the ...

First time with Fred Olsen and got a great saver deal. Sailing from Dover was so easy with excellent parking arrangements at the port and easy embarkation. This smaller ship is has a very friendly crew and staff. Excellent shows and entertainers in the bars and loung areas. Drinks and spa treatments are a reasonable price - much better than any other cruise line I have been with. Five course ...
