My sister celebrated her 71st Birthday on the ship - the cabin team helped make her day extremely memorable! We were all "over the moon" surprised! Never been on a Cruise line that went to this extent before!!! Well done Oceania!

"Like the ship, the suite is decorated to look like a dated Vegas hotel room.On this ship there are regular rooms and suites, the suites are double the size of the room and unlike the Apex which has various size of suites, this ship had only large suites...."Read More

A miserable Oceania Marina cruise

This was my 4th time cruising with Oceania, the 3rd one on Marina. It's a shame this cruise line deteriorated so far, it used to be my favorite. No complaints about the ship itself, it is beautiful, comfortable and not too large. However, since the last time I have been on it (2019, just before the pandemic hit) it went downhill all the way. The food is not the same, for example, the Polo ...

After having 4-5 good cruises on RCL, my wife and we're looking for a "step above" cruise and had heard nothing but glowing praise about Oceania cruises. The ship (Marina) was lovely. For the most part, the food and service were impeccable. Our cabin (B1 class, 282 square ft with veranda) was very nice. HIGHS:. Cabin service, free room service and free laundry service. Pool & spa. ...

My father-in-law decided to take the entire family on a cruise. This consisted of him and his wife, my brother-in-law, his wife, and their baby (who was about 1.5 years old), and my husband and myself. We opted for a cruise from Lisbon to Barcelona. Although I've only been on a couple of cruises prior, both my husband and his father have been on considerable more. This was, however, the first ...

We are an active couple in our early 50s. We have been cruising for 30 years and have been on most of the lines. Lately we've been on a big Royal ship, 2 small Celebrity ships, the Virgin ship and we did a Baltic cruise in August on Celebrity Apex. We went with 4 other couples all in their early 50s. Embarkation was easy. In this particular port (Lisbon) you get on the ship by climbing ...

Oceania Still Delivers Post-Pandemic, Albeit a Bit Differently

Like many avid cruisers, we had several much anticipated cruises cancelled during the pandemic that shut down much of the world in 2020 and 2021. Our cruise, Iberia to Italia, was one of the first aboard Marina, the first of Oceania's ships to return to service post-pandemic. Prior to providing details of our experience it's important to note that there were still a great many COVID restrictions ...

We really like the quiet atmosphere of Oceanic - very few children, not a lot of loud music. The pool area stays relatively quiet. The food is, for the most part, very good - especially in the specialty restaurants. We had the wine and beer package, which allows beer and wine by the glass at meals. It was adequate. I would suggest they add a couple of WBTG at each restaurant to complement the ...

Wonderful second visit on Marina, third Oceania cruise overall!

We chose this cruise for it's Spain-intensive itinerary and no at sea days. This turned out to be a mixed blessing, as we did private tours (Spain Day Tours, which we greatly recommend). All of the tours involved van/bus rides of 1-2 hours, and quite a bit of walking, so we were pretty tired and had no at sea days to recuperate and just enjoy the pool, spa, or the rest of the ship. This was ...

This was our 6th Oceania Cruise, 3 on each Riviera and Marina. This size of ship suits and have not tried the smaller ones. We booked our flights independently and flew to Lisbon on the day of the cruise arriving at the terminal about 11am, had a quick coffee at the coffee shop next to the cruise terminal and a Pasteis de Nata which was delicious. Embarkation was quick and efficient and we ...

Average, not as Luxurious or 5 star as touted

We sailed aboard Oceania Marina from Lisbon to Monte Carlo Sept 29 – to Oct 6 2019. Our expectations and excitement for the journey as well as the Marina were high based on much research and Oceania’s marketing. Our cruise experience was not five star/luxury, intimate, personal, or warm. Cabin and Concierge Service Cabin service was average, but not personalized or attentive beyond usual ...

Love this itinerary. 6th time to Rio, Diverse ports, lots of sea days, good friends. Little changes- many fewer European staff, new CD and GM. Fantastic value. Took ship's tours as I am travelling solo, private tours see more, more leasurely pace. I felt rushed as there was a need to cram many sites in limited time. Have been to Rio before- never attempted to do Sugerloaf and Christ the ...
