A spectacular ship (discovery yacht) and wonderful crew.

Review for a Europe - British Isles & Western Cruise on Scenic Eclipse II

We were very keen to experience the Scenic Eclipse and were most impressed with the advanced technology and wonderful crew. On one of the sea days we did tours of the engine rooms and 4 galleys - the staff are very proud of the new ship and there is a great sense of camaraderie. The Captain Torry enthusiastically welcomed everyone to visit the bridge and interacted extremely well with ...

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on L'Austral

John and I were delighted to discover this one-off food- and wine-centric itinerary on the L’Austral. We enjoy the French ambiance, excellent food, and great wine onboard Ponant’s ships. This cruise promised more of the same by including a Michelin-starred guest chef, guest experts on wine and cheese, and special wine and gastronomic events. The Ponant Corporate Chef was also onboard this ...

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Star Pride

Lisbon to Dublin seemed like an interesting itinerary so we booked a mid-ship stateroom. We had cruised on Star Pride's Inaugural sailing and prior to that when it was a Seabourn ship. The cabins are spacious albeit somewhat dated now. The ship is compact. Two staircases so you gain a sense of where everything is quite quickly. The main restaurant is deck 3 and the Veranda (self ...

Most enjoyable cruise aboard the Seaborn Ovation.

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Seabourn Ovation

We chose this cruise for a few reasons. We had previously sailed Seaborn Encore in the Mediterranean and thoroughly enjoyed the ship, food and service that Seabourn provided, therefore, Ovation, which is the same class ship as Encore, was an easy sell for us. Ovation was just beautiful.....almost identical to Encore. We love the size....large enough, light filled with beautiful yachtlike decor ...

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Le Laperouse

In August, 2018, we first cruised along the coast of Croatia on Le Lyrial. It was fabulous-great weather, beautiful scenery with clear bright skies and turquoise waters. Our choice to do the Laperouse cruise was in part due to coordinating it with the end of the Croatian cruise on Le Lyrial. We had a wonderful week in between the two cruises in Portugal before embarking on Le Laperouse. The ...

Review for a Europe - British Isles & Western Cruise on Azamara Journey

We choose this cruise based on the itinerary, so we could stay onboard for the following cruise. We expected it to be good, based on past Azamara experiences, but it was unexpectedly better. Great weather, and the lengths of stay in the various ports was "just right". We loved the white night deck party, and really enjoyed the Aqualina restaurant. My wife says the chocolate soufflé ...

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Azamara Journey

We have been sailing on the r class ships since 1996. The renovation and the updating of the Journey is nothing short of miraculous for such an old ship. The common areas have been well restored with touches of traditional art all around. The rooms are small! So get over it!!!!!!! Do what I do and take showers in the fitness center after a workout in the well equipped gym. This cruise had nothing ...

26 june we started a back-to-back cruise with the Azamara-Journey from Lisbon to Stockholm. This cruise was just great. Compared to other cruise-lines we travelled with, the officers and the rest of the crew are more friendly and always willing to help you and to answer questions. Compared to Oceania.... well there we never saw the officers (we missed 1 meeting at the start of a cruise with ...
