We chose Lindblad/National Geographic because we have traveled with them several times in the past and we were quite certain that the adventure would be one we would be glad we had - and we were not disappointed. Lindblad Expeditions truly provides travelers an opportunity to explore the world in the company of knowledgeable naturalists, experienced guides, professional photographers, and ...

The Maritimes cruise was a disappointment. I expect more from Nat Geo/Lindblad. My prior trips were amazing but this one was boring at times. Part of it was the location and part was Lindblad. As promised, he woke us during the night when there ...

Lindblad/NG’s Explorer spends two weeks in the autumn twice circumnavigating Newfoundland, touching two other Canadian provinces and a tiny, misplaced part of France. Earlier in the year it explores Greenland and points north. After leaving Canada, it heads far south of the equator. Our cruise featured “Robin” MacNeil (of the MacNeil-Lehrer News Hour) as after-dinner speaker. Stops included ...

Some background first: my wife and I are retired and in our mid-60's. She's a retired human resources professional and I'm a retired public servant. She's also a professional gardener for a fine dining restaurant. She loves natural science and wildlife preservation and I'm an avid amateur historian. Neither of us are heavy drinkers or partiers although we enjoy a good glass of wine, good food ...
