"The entertainment was good, but not great on this cruise. The cruise terminal Royal currently uses at Galveston is old and dated, but they are building a new one that should be open later in 2022...."Read More

We've been on 35 cruises mostly Princess (my favorite) Royal Caribbean and a few others, but for a short cruise, this was excellent. Embarkation was quick and so was debarkation even tho I need a wheelchair, Usually, this can take time but not on this ship. Only surprise was the buffet closes at 8:00am on debarkation day. Clever way to get people moving. Our room seemed small, it was an ...

Overall Good Experience

Starting with our room. We booked a corner Panoramic Ocean View. The view was fantastic and overall the room wasn't located in a place that was too loud. It was winter months and the temp outside was in the low to mid 70's so the room stayed nice and cool for us. For one of the days, the sun really came out and the room did get a bit warm but not uncomfortably. The amenities in the room seemed ...

Overall solid cruise, great for those newer to cruises

Highs- Ship: the ship is great, although slightly more outdated in certain areas compared to Freedom of the Seas Staff: all super friendly, accessible, and helpful Itinerary: for those who are active, having no full days at sea was really nice if you tend to get a little bored on the ship or need constant activity. We had a day at CocoCay and a day at Nassau Food: main dining room was ...

Haven't been on a cruise in over 20 years. Left Ft. Lauderdale on Monday, 11/27/23. 10 minutes from terminal to 4th deck bar (no joke it was THAT quick). Easy, easy, easy. 4 day cruise - 1 Coco Cay, 1 Nassau. I loved everything about this cruise, including our Jr. Suite, except the food. BIG disappointment. Yes you can have as much as you want, but I really felt like the portions ...

We booked a 4-night Bahamas cruise aboard Liberty of the Seas to celebrate my birthday. Watching the weather forecast ahead of the cruise, I was extremely nervous. They were calling for 20-30 MPH winds and thunderstorms when we were in the Bahamas. Fortunately, before we even left the port, the captain announced that our itinerary needed to be changed because of the approaching cold front. He ...

On the day of the cruise we flew into Newark, NJ and had prepaid the RC shuttle from the airport to the cruise port. There were about 80 people at the airport terminal and they sent one bus which only holds 50 people so after waiting two hours in 90 degree heat a second bus finally arrived. We got to the ship a little after 2PM. Since they knew how many people had signed up there was no excuse for ...

I enjoyed this cruise, but prefer the Oasis class versus the Freedom class (first time). I have been on the Voyager of the Seas, Serenade of the Seas, Brilliance of the Seas, Oasis of the Seas (2x), and Radiance of the Seas. I sailed on the Liberty of the Seas on 8/24 (first cruise of season) packed for totally different weather. Bring pants and jackets. Do not expect to be able to sit out on ...

Great ship, but it needs to be amped!

I love this ship. I've sailed on her twice and would go again. My only complaint is they need the drink fountains that come with the amped ships. We skipped the soda package, because standing at the bar to get my kids a soda is a waste of everyone's time. Other than that, we had a fabulous cruise. We had a really foggy sea day, which was interesting and fun! The fog horn going on all night ...

For First Time Cruisers This Was An Amazing Experience

First Time Cruiser • Age 60s

A cruise ship this size is really impressive the first time you are on one. It's is older but looked great to us. We liked the ship, our cabin, the ports we visited and the shows very much. We even got used to the 80s music all over so that we missed it when we got home. It was very cheerful and so are the staff, who are well trained. I have never had so many people trying so hard to make me ...

Review for a Bermuda Cruise on Liberty of the Seas

We sailed on Liberty with a group of three: my partner and I (mid/late 30s) and his son (9). This was my third experience with Royal as an adult, second for my partner, and the kiddo's very first cruise. We chose this sailing because we wanted to leave from a port within driving distance of our home in central NY and because I love Bermuda. On the whole, our experiences were positive. Food ...
