Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony (E2) Cabin Reviews

Sail Date: February 2018
Cabin was quiet and comfortable. There was plenty of room for all our clothing. Condition was very good for an older ship. Location could have been closer to the elevators but was amidships so no sea movement was felt at all. Read More

The Liberty of the Seas trumpeted a host of new refurbishments and upgrades since its first launch in 2007. But when we arrived in our stateroom, our road-weary eyes were greeted with obscenely outdated furnishings that showed visible signs of age, wear and tear, all aside from being completely filthy. From carpets layered with dust to a bathroom covered in grime and pubic hairs (we have the photos to prove it), my exhausted children had to begin their vacation cleaning out the room before the staff arrived. We spent the rest of the first day of our vacation waiting in line at the guest services desk attempting to address our grievances. After the first hour of waiting as they typed nondescript minutiae into a computer (stalling), they only tried to placate us with a flimsy apology note and a plate of chocolate-covered strawberries. By the time we finished ironing things out, we were utterly exhausted, yet merely slaking our thirst proved to be a chore of its own. Read Less

The cabin wasn't anything spectacular. The stateroom attendant did a good job of cleaning our room, however upon arrival into our rooms, they weren't very clean. There was a huge urine stain on the bed we were sleeping on. Read More

Clean, adequately-sized. Bathroom fine, though slightly smaller than on a Carnival ship. REALLY liked that the shower was a "cylinder" with 2 sliding doors, rather than a shower curtain. Less water on the floor. Good balcony - no obstructed view. Could see the "flying bridge" to the left several cabins down and on Deck 11, and could see the Hot tub 3 decks up when looking to the right, but neither obstructed our view in any way. Would definitely consider asking for this room again if we cruise on Liberty of the Seas. Read Less
