This is my first time ever going on a cruise with my family. Honestly i was disappointed, The balacony room i have purchased on the starboard (Right) side of the ship had a awful smell every time i entered the room, I asked the stateroom attendant to fix the issue but nothing could be done so i would gag or throwup the meal i would eat during my stay. The food while, plentiful was often hard, or ...

With a $500 credit about to expire my wife and I thought this holiday weekend cruise would be a relaxing getaway. We have previously done two cruises with NCL, this was our first cruise with RC. Parking at Port Everglades was confusing. We were directed to two different parking garages by attendants at the port and ended up shuttling from the far end of the port to the pier. The boarding ...

At my age now, will spend a little more money on the better cruise lines.I am Diamond plus on Royal. They have declined in quality and service. The bar staff were incompetent and rude. The desserts are all frozen and the meals are pre cooked. This was even true with specialty dining. The decor is about 15 years old and so are the furnishings. The movie screen outside was covered by a sheet. The ...

I went on this cruise with my boyfriend as a spur of the moment vacataion. This was my very first time on a cruise ship and my first time out of the country. I had such a great time on this cruise and was disappointed when we had to return. The ship itself was exciting. Everyday there was a party. Even though I was a bit nervous, I had a great time. While on the ship, we attend an art auction ...

Liberty of the Seas, Dec. 2011, Rock Legends Bahamas Cruise

Background: My husband and I are an average couple. We are both approximately 40, work full-time, and have no children. This cruise was a charter cruise for the Native American Heritage Society featuring several rock bands so it was a bit atypical. This was our 13th cruise overall, tenth on Royal. There was a broad range of ages for the adults. It seemed like there were people from young 20s ...

My wife and I like short getaway cruises but will not book the typical three night cruise if one of the ports of call is Nassau or Freeport. This cruise was unusual. It was the only Bahama cruise of its kind in 2010. The ship was one of the newer cruise ships, it's only port of call was RCL's private island, plus a day at sea. It would had been the perfect cruise had RCL added Key West as one of ...

This was our first cruise on a Freedom Class ship. We have done smaller ships the past few years. First impressions are that these ships are a nice upgrade from the Voyager class, with some nice features. Getting checked in at Port of Miami was a bigger hassle than I had expected. We are diamond members so actual check in was quite easy. However, the line to get on to the ship itself was ...

DW and I have 2 teenage boys ages 15 & 17. We decided to surprise our 14 year old who turned 15 on the trip with a surprise cruise. This rare itinerary for Liberty of the Seas was perfect because it left on an early release day for school and was followed by a school closed day. Our younger son's very interested in marine life so we told him we booked a hotel in Key Largo and we were going to ...
