Ahhh where to begin—- we are on the last day of our 7 day Prima cruise in a Haven family suite . We have been loyal to Norwegian and the Haven for the past 12 years and have always left happy and excited to return. Not this time. This is also our first Norwegian cruise since the Covid epidemic and things have changed dramatically Forst i Will saw the ship is athletically beautiful but poorly ...

I booked this cruise before she was completed. I was so excited to sail her. I gave it 2.5 stars but somethings were OUTSTANDING while other mistakes that I hope can be fixed, made this disappointing. The venues small. Long lines and waits. This is a vacation it shouldn’t be waiting on line. The room no organization! I know it’s a different class of ship, but this lacked ...

So this was my 16th Cruise but my fiances' 1st. I want to start off by talking about the good points. The food was good. The port Bermuda was amazing. Most of the staff were nice. The ship is immaculate and gorgeous. Now for the bad which had I had taken the reviews seriously I should have never booked this ship. 1. We stayed in the Haven.. Not what I expected. Our butler was OK but ...

My family and I recently embarked on a cruise aboard the Norwegian Prima, one of Norwegian Cruise Line's ships. While there were some aspects of the trip that we enjoyed, we ultimately cannot recommend this particular ship or cruise line. I'll break down the positives and negatives of our experience below. Positives: The Spa Therma Lounge was a highlight, featuring two warm pools, saunas, a ...

Excellent Ship, Disappointing Main Dining Room Menus and Signage for directions

Review for a Bermuda Cruise on Norwegian Prima

Cruise was selected because of the new ship and short duration of the cruise. The trip to Bermuda and first day were all excellent. Everyone was attentive and in a good mood. While weather was expected to be good through Friday, the storm rolled in earlier then expected. NCL made the wise decision to leave early and provided credit for the lost time. The unexpected and disappointing part was ...

At lunch and dinner the buffet is extremely small with no place to sit. The food court is nice but again not enough sitting place. The ship is super nice but the plubic area not design for 3900 guest. Been on many other NCL cruise ship this was the less enjoying experience even in the Haven area they have removed many amenities that you found on other ships. Very crowded compare to other NCL ...

A little about us: 4 Passengers Low 40's 2 Platinums, 2 Sapphires 15th NCL Cruise, 11th in the Haven Cabin: See below. Concierge: I'll make this is own section since this is what probably affected us the most. Upon getting on board we were put into the Haven Lounge with about 200 other people, it was packed. There was a desk off to the side with two concierge people with ...

I wanted to cruise on the Newest Ship of NCL the Prima for a few different reasons. The 1st being able to drive the race cars. I had taken a cruise to Alaska with the NCL but because the weather was bad I never got to drive the racecars on that cruise. On the Prima I was luckier and was able to drive the racecars and it was the best money ever spent. I strongly recommend to everybody, that if they ...

My wife and I have taken a number of cruises on different cruise lines. This was our second Haven cruise on NCL and went on a Caribbean cruise on the Prima. Checking in and embarkation went very smoothly. Had a nice lunch at the Haven restaurant. Watched some of the football games, hung out at the Haven pool area - which is tone of the nicest pool areas I have been in. On one level there is ...

Form over function describes the Prima

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Norwegian Prima

User Avatar

The Prima is a beautiful ship, but it became apparent that form over function was in play. The Ocean Blvd was cool, but the Casino was cramped and unappealing. Syd Norman's was a disaster - no seating, crowded, claustrophobic. So was the Improv. The Premrose atrium was underwhelming and unattractive. I stayed in the Haven 2-bedroom Owner's suite and was disappointed with many things: a wall with 2 ...
