1-10 of 10 Norwegian Prima Inside Cabin Cruise Reviews
As a group of friends that have cruised more than 20 times with multiple companies in multiple countries I can say without a doubt that I have never booked with a cruise line company that is so against helping their customers we had some bad weather during our trip which is understandable that we missed a port here or there but when you are going to be in Port less than 2 hours from your flight ...
Cons:
I’m a big RCL fan, seeing so many good reviews about NCL I decided to give it a try. So far, worst cruise experience. Departed from NYC on 03/28 on NCL Prima. Staff was unwelcoming, felt like they were forced to be there. Food was horrible, tasteless, was not kept at the correct temperature. Meat, chicken, salmon and others were cold. Buffet was understaffed , we had to look for personnel ...
GOOD
The PRIMA is a beautiful ship and feels new with very modern looking furnishings and art work. There are multiple interactive touch screens by all the elevators that provide information and a map of the current deck and all other decks. These are very useful to find your way around the ship as often you must walk through one area to get to your destination.
The staterooms are very ...
We planed this cruise eight months in advance. It was my retirement cruise . We counted down the days until we were finally onboard. This was our 7th NCL cruise, with most of them exceeding our expectations. From the moment we stepped onboard, the disappointments started. There were no entertainment shows available and specialty dining restaurants were booked. We tried to keep our heads up and be ...
While Prima is a beautiful ship, NCL tried to make her all things for all people and failed almost everyone in the process. It’s as if a dozen different designers worked on their own areas without communicating with anyone else. Cabins are spacious and comfortable and Ocean Boulevard is nice but these positives are far outnumbered by other negatives. The main pool area is grossly undersized. The ...
My family have been long time fans of NCL breakaway class boats and have raved about almost all cruises from the Spirit to the Dawn to the Escape and many in between. We booked the Prima a year ago and just got back and wished we had stayed with older ships. The Prima has small venues, tons of technical issues and uses two thirds of its top deck spaces on added cost venues included the totally ...
Just got off the Prima yesterday morning and though she is a beautiful ship, I won't be sailing her or her class of ship again. I've sailed many NCL Breakaway (and plus) class ships and loved them all. I even liked the Epic, but this one misses the mark by a mile.
I don't hate the Prima, but it just has too many small irritants which lowered my enjoyment of the cruise. It seems to be a very ...
I seen all the advertisements on this ship and assumed it was a teenager friendly ship. I am a novice cruiser, only cruised 1 time before and that was Carnival not Norwegian. When I seen the go cart track and slides, I just new this was be awesome for kids. I was quickly let down when I discovered there was a charge for the go carts and gaming room. Maybe I should have expected this but like I ...
Prima is legitimately 2 ships in one. The Haven is aft for the first time and it is exclusive. Encompassing the entire aft of Prima from the 9th deck up, non-Haven guests can't even lay eyes on the Haven's decks from the highest vantage points on the rest of the ship. Private elevators provide Haven guests access to the beautiful public decks from their full quarter of the ship. There are no other ...
The bulk of the itinerary was to visit the Southern Caribbean. I have never been. I also have never been to Galveston, TX before. The idea of new destinations appealed to me. I booked the first week bookings became available. The marketing described the ship as more space per passenger and a lower crew to passenger ratio. Both statements were accurate for the most part. In an effort to ...
