Deluxe Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony (E1) Cabin Reviews

The carpets in the cabin smelled of pee, the bedsheets were torn, smudges on the mirror, the mini bar door fell off, could not close the closet door. The hallway had a terrible smell as well.

Nice cabin. They were quick to repair the toilet when it plugged and the shower when it fell apart. The balcony doors were very difficult to open.

These are a bit smaller than many because Legend is a smaller ship than many newer ones. However the balcony gives a bit of extra space and the large doors give the room extra lightness, plus extra space to chill out. Hanging space is limited and there's not really enough room for two large suitcases to be stored away. In addition if you want a fridge, you have to ask for it. My wife said that the bathroom was smaller too, but I couldn't see it.- women may have a better eye for that sort of thing. The cabin attendant kept it immaculate. Décor was nice, and it definitely didn't look "tired". Plumbing all worked fine through whole trip. We chose this location because it was the lowest balcony deck in the mid section of the ship - not as much motion as up higher, or nearer the ends. Read Less

These cabins are comfortable and well equipped, an electric jug is a real bonus and a small amount of tea, milk and sugar are provided and replenished daily. Fresh towels are provided continually. The cabin was soundproof and the only noise that encroached was when announcements were put over the speaker however one had to open the door to hear these or turn on the cabin speaker. The balcony area though small, as it is on most ships, was adequate and comfortable to sit out on, screens provided privacy from adjoining cabins. There was a washing line in the shower. The cabin was serviced regularly and your every need was catered to. Read Less
