Me with a life ring. This is on the "Promenade" deck, which does not encircle the ship and offers no loungers or views.

This was my first time cruising with MSC. Before the cruise, I was a little bit concern because of some negative reviews. As far as I understand, the ship was only 50% full. I was told that quite a lot of cancellations because of the change of route. Instead of St Petersburg, we stayed 2 nights in Tallinn. I had the premium balcony cabin. There's a big sofa which can turn into a double ...

My wife and I (Indonesian) were on our Europe (German) holidays, It was almost 3 weeks and we closed the trip with this cruise, starting from Kiel that is about 90 minutes from Hamburg where my son lived by train. We arrived in Germany, August 17, 2018 and from this time on, my son joined the trip. Since this was the first cruise for my son so I selected the moderate cruising period, normally I ...

We made the Santos / Kiel crossing, and Kiel / Saint Petersburg / Kiel crossing for 28 days on the Costa Preziosa. I have reported problems with cockroaches, hair in the food, the smell of sewage in the pool that was in the stern of the ship, problems and stress in the excursions, where people stayed inside the bus more than 4 hours without being able to go to the bathroom, staff of the ...

This was our second time going in a cruise with MSC. The first time was with the Poesia around the Mediterranean Sea. The experiences were very different. The route was good, all the cities are beautiful and there wasn't any big delay or change on the itinerary. We found the food at the buffet really good and there was a fair amount of variety, although not as wide as in the Poesia. ...

We booked a Norway cruise a year prior on Norwegian and they canceled our cruise three months later! We had used points for the flights and booked a longer vacation around this cruise so we had to scramble. Thankfully, the MSC Preziosa was doing a nearly identical cruise. A quick look showed limited restaurants and an overall heavy lean towards Italian preferences which was understandable. ...

The MSC PREZIOSA is a great ship, the design is very modern and beautiful and the staff and fellow cruisers were nice. The food in the buffet was great as well in the Golden Lobster restaurant. The swimming pools and the hot tubes were very good too. The embarkation and disembarkation of the ship were fast and efficient. The choice of bars is very wide. The pools and the hot tubes are usually ...

The service and activities was excellent. The room was attended to several times a day. The cleaning crew was always around and doing a very impressive job. They did have karaoke but only for 1hr while the bar was closed - who wants to do that sober? Get the all you can drink package - worth every penny. Our trip was diverted because of weather in Sweden so we went to Finland instead. St. ...

We chose this ship for price, and itinerary. We have cruised before with Norwegian, Royal Caribean, Carnival, Princess, and Disney. Embarkation was strange but did go pretty fast. You got to a counter and they give you a number, when your number is called you can board the ship. Passengers: 80% Germans, rest were Italians, Spaniards and French. We did not noticed any Americans on board and ...

Poor organization, service and food

We did a 7 day Baltic cruise on the MSC Preziosa from Kiel and are very disappointed. MSC did a bad job. The staff was obviously not trained, too few crew members had to deal with chaotic scenes in overcrowded bars and restaurants. Some weren't friendly and not guest oriented due to overwork. Embarking and disembarking did not work well, too less security points and staff. The ship could not leave ...

This was out first cruise with MSC. We knew that this is quite an international ship and that everything is annoiunced in at least 6 languages, so we prepared for this. We chose this cruise because we really wanted to see St Petersburg, Tallin and Stockholm. We boarded in Kopenhagen which went extremely smooth as we discovered most guests boarded the day before in Kiel. We loved our inside cabin, ...
