This was my first time cruising with MSC. Before the cruise, I was a little bit concern because of some negative reviews. As far as I understand, the ship was only 50% full. I was told that quite a lot of cancellations because of the change of route. Instead of St Petersburg, we stayed 2 nights in Tallinn. I had the premium balcony cabin. There's a big sofa which can turn into a double ...

We were an extended family of 10 Americans traveling together, with 2 seniors and 4 kids ages 2, 5, 9, 12. We picked MSC for the Norwegian Fjord destination and itineary. Overall, the destinations were fabulous, we enjoyed our family vacation and the cruise was a nice way to get there. Some in our group had cruised before with Celebrity or Royal Carribean. For them, this cruise is more bare ...

First time cruising with MSC. We booked this cruise through a travel deal which included return flights between Zurich and Hamburg as well as transfers between Hamburg airport and Kiel port. The transfers were very well organized. We flew with HOP! (part of Air France) and was welcomed at the baggage claim area by a MSC representative. We were guided to the tour buses outside the airport which ...

The service and activities was excellent. The room was attended to several times a day. The cleaning crew was always around and doing a very impressive job. They did have karaoke but only for 1hr while the bar was closed - who wants to do that sober? Get the all you can drink package - worth every penny. Our trip was diverted because of weather in Sweden so we went to Finland instead. St. ...

We chose this ship for price, and itinerary. We have cruised before with Norwegian, Royal Caribean, Carnival, Princess, and Disney. Embarkation was strange but did go pretty fast. You got to a counter and they give you a number, when your number is called you can board the ship. Passengers: 80% Germans, rest were Italians, Spaniards and French. We did not noticed any Americans on board and ...

This was out first cruise with MSC. We knew that this is quite an international ship and that everything is annoiunced in at least 6 languages, so we prepared for this. We chose this cruise because we really wanted to see St Petersburg, Tallin and Stockholm. We boarded in Kopenhagen which went extremely smooth as we discovered most guests boarded the day before in Kiel. We loved our inside cabin, ...
