Ports were great; cruise leadership was not!

The embarkation process was smooth, less than one hour. The ship staff for the main dining room were very good and our room steward too was quite good. The food was the same as the Serenade of the Seas we were on in December 2014. The quality of the food was pretty good overall and the service was very good to excellent. The first port of Santa Barbara was a tender port. The ship's tender ...

This was my 6th cruise, and first on RCCL. I was traveling with my Mother. We have cruised together several times. This cruise went to Catalina Island, San Francisco (with overnight), Victoria, and ended in Vancouver. Embarkation: We arrived at the pier rather late, so there was zero wait for embarkation. Little did ...

Mexico - Panama Canal - Central America Cruise - 14 Nights. Overall, this cruise was above average but less than very good. I am an RCCL Diamond level cruiser and this was my 15th cruise - 10th with RCCL - 1st on Jewel. PRE CRUISE: We flew out the day before and stayed at the Sheraton Old San Juan Hotel & Casino the night before. I thought by staying at this hotel we could just walk to the ...

We had not sailed on Royal Caribbean before and had high hopes. We traveled with 20 friends from our church and with pre-paid gratuity we all got to sit together in the Tides Restaurant, lower level, 6:00pm sitting. We had 3 tables: one 10-seater, and two 6-seaters. Only two waiters were assigned to us. (one Waiter and one Assist. Waiter) On the first night, the service was terrible. It took so ...
