Becoming rundown

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Carnival Elation

We used to cruise a lot before Covid. We are gold card members on Carnival. Our kids are 8 and 9 and this was their 6th Carnival cruise. We recently went on a Royal Caribbean cruise on the Independence of the Seas and had a great time, but we loved the Carnival kids club and had fond memories of cruising when our kids were much younger. They hadn’t been on a cruise since 2019 when they were 5 and ...

Took my first Carnival cruise on the Elation from Jacksonville, FL - Nassau Bahamas 11/13~11/18/23 with myself and my teenager son. This was my second cruise overall, the first having been on Royal Caribbean in 2021. Worst mistake ever. Boarding was pretty smooth. Zero complaints. Upon boarding, went to Guy's burger place on deck 10 and it was rather delicious. Sailing out was everything I ...

So loud

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Carnival Elation

The dinning room was crowded and loud. The attendant could hardly move around. The noise level was so loud I couldn't hear my companions that were seated next to me. Then a woman flashed to some people. That was the first night. We didn't go back until the 3rd night and it was just as loud, a young child apparently choked on her food and her father got up and did the upper thrusts until he ...

We just returned from our cruise on the Elation, over all it was ok but the food was awful.we had a suite which was very nice. This was my husband’s first cruise but I’ve cruised before. The entertainment could definitely need some help and the prices on the drinks was very high as expected. The crew was nice on and off the ship was a easy process and Gabe was awesome!Overall I asked my husband would ...

The service on this boat was awful 20 plus minutes at any of the bars to get a drink are rooms was hot the casino area was very hot long lines for everything. I don’t blame the staff the work very hard but they need help also karaoke was a big hit but way to short and kids should have their own place and adults their own Are dinner every night wasn’t great was not a good experience for adults ...

Great Trip, Bad Food

We chose this cruise as “first-time-cruisers”, learning every step of the way. We did everything from booking bunk beds, to booking late excursions and too early of a dinner time. Fortunately, Carnival is an amazing cruise line and did their best to ensure that we had an awesome time, and we sure did. The only thing that didn’t really sit well, was the food quality. The “dinner” served in the ...

I wanted to show my friends (first time cruisers) how wonderful you are treated on cruise ships. 1. Room was hot. After 3 attempt waking with migrane and my hair wet with sweat, called at 3am. Was told temp should be between 72 and 76. Since it was 74, I was offered a fan. It was covered w/dust. All I could think was it came from a room where someone had Covid and I was gonna get it from ...

This was our first cruise to Bahamas we were super excited since usually we sail out Texas and you don’t see Bahamas from that destination, this ship was extremely small and only offered one pool, that’s awful to try swim or be out in water on sail days with one small pool. The food was awful the eggs were gritty and the food in dining room was less than great by far. They didn’t offer special ...

Our stateroom attendant wayman was awesome and a pleasure to speak to everyday. our 3 waiters in the main restaurant were fantastic as well. went and had massage on the first night down at the spa and it was amazing. they did an amazing job. just very pushy on trying to sell their products in the end. no complaints, they are just doing their job. quality of food in the dining room and ...

I would not go back onto this cruise only because we weren’t being taken seriously. our a/c was detected to 78 degrees and poor management being shown to us. I called the phone 3 times for someone to fix the a/c.I was told the technician was on break so I understand how that feels to be on break while having a job. So I waited a day to give it some time. I went to guest services because I’ve been ...
