It is difficult to give an objective critique because my husband and I lucked out and spent 21 days in a gorgeous penthouse suite with butler and all the perks. Our outside cabin was great - spacious, heaps of storage space, excellent bathroom with non-stick shower screen and screened toilet. Buffet offered great choices but the decor needs updating. Some dishes were very salty. The pub restaurant was a nice place to dine or have a coffee and watch the atrium entertainment but choices were very limited, and service was very slow (almost non existent) ...

Many of the ports such as Athens, Aqaba, Luxor, Haifam, Suez Canal are all bucket list destinations and that's why we picked this cruise. The Star is a beautiful ship, and the price could not be beaten. We booked a guaranteed-rate oceanview cabin, which meant that Norwegian picked the room. NO WATER, NOR SODA, NOR JUICE COULD BE TAKEN ABORD, All my 8 bottles of water were confiscated on bording the ship. when they should have been returned they were lost.
