To be fair, my wife and i had a fine cruise. We had booked a cruise on MSC Splendida due to the route and we were not disappointed. For October the weather was excellent. It is a pity there is always a time constraint not allowing you to visited all the places you want to, however we knew the route and the timetable.

We chose this cruise because of the wonderful itinerary. Malta, Cyprus and Israel were all new to us and having the chance to spend time in Rome after the cruise was a big factor in our decision.
The Constellation is a very nice ship. Some of our fellow passengers felt it was getting worn looking, but we felt everything was in excellent condition and upscale.

First cruise to celebrate our 40th wedding, had an issue with guest relations which they couldn't resolve and not happy with their attitude.
that being said we had fantastic service in Blu restaurant and the cabin staff.
Don't like the heavy pressure selling.
Organized our own excursions which saved at lot compered to celebrity equinox and met some really nice people.

Excellent ship and destinations and the arrangements all seemed to go smoothly. Our problem was service which was erratic and sometimes plain rude and unhelpful. Many staff were exceptional such as our waitress at dinner-but try getting good service on the customer desk-service with a scowl every time.

I really enjoyed the above cruise on the celebrity constellation in October 2015. The employees of the company go out of their way to make you feel great. It was very disappointing not to go into Israel . Instead we went to 4 Greek islands. A shame there wasn't something else to break of all the old churches and look alike places, even tho they were interesting.

The good:
Our cabin was comfortable. Not spacious, of course.
Steward service was extraordinary.
Service in the Silhouette restaurant was excellent.

Sailed on the constellation, last september, and found so much lacking this time.

I want to give it a 3.5 if 3 is average and 4 is very good.
After thorough researching I though I found a cruise ship with good food. I thought that with celebrity aligning themselves up with top chef and overall other friends of mine saying the food was not bad in the oceanview cafe, I thought it was be safe to assume MDR, and the pay restaurants would be great.
