We chose this cruise because of the wonderful itinerary. Malta, Cyprus and Israel were all new to us and having the chance to spend time in Rome after the cruise was a big factor in our decision.
The Constellation is a very nice ship. Some of our fellow passengers felt it was getting worn looking, but we felt everything was in excellent condition and upscale.
The food in the dining room ...
I really enjoyed the above cruise on the celebrity constellation in October 2015. The employees of the company go out of their way to make you feel great. It was very disappointing not to go into Israel . Instead we went to 4 Greek islands. A shame there wasn't something else to break of all the old churches and look alike places, even tho they were interesting.
Other cruises had many ...
Although we had a wonderful time on board due to the great people we met from our Cruise Critic contacts, we felt the ship's atmosphere and entertainment were sorely lacking.
Having travelled on the Infinity twice, we expected the same experience or better in the Constellation. We were very disappointed. The crew and Maitre "D" in the dining room went out of their way to please us. We didn't ...
Sailed on the constellation, last september, and found so much lacking this time.
Dining: service not as good, did not pay attention to what i ordered. the meat was always dry. one night we had lamb and everyone after said it was chewy and hard to eat at all.
Worst ever entertainment, only one show was really worth watching that was goronwy thom., the rest we saw last year nothing ...
We visited Istanbul independently prior to the cruise and spent 3 wonderful days site seeing. we boarded the ship on the 20/9 and the process was quick from getting on board to the cabin being ready and our luggage arriving , we were in aqua class deck 11 The cabin was spacious and clean but I was disappointed with the size of the bathroom/shower probably the smallest we have ever had and we have ...
This was the twentieth cruise, eight with Celebrity, the second on Constellation and, because of advancing age and declining health, possibly the final sailaway. The decision, for what might be the last time in a lifetime, was to take a relaxed approach to travelling.
After four and a half hours from the house to Gatwick by train. We had requested assistance at our local station which we ...
We just returned from the Sept. 20th 2014 cruise thru/around the Black Sea and what a disappointment.!
We sailed about 18 months ago on the Solstice from Dubai to Singapore and expected a similar experience on the Solsticized Constellation.
Lets begin....
Celebrity after much delay finally amended the ports due to the crisis in the Ukraine.
They hyped the new ports as if we were going to the ...
Hi, I will write this review in my best English but it is not my mother language so I am sure I will make mistakes, I hope this won't bother the readers too much. We are from the Netherlands and we are 58 and 51 years old.
This was our second cruise on Celebrity Constellation. Last year we had a Transatlantic from Miami to Amsterdam. We then found out that the ship is quite small, there was not ...
We sailed on the Constellation in November on their Greek Islands cruise., not our happiest.
Travelling to istanbul was as usual for us easy as not that long a flight from U.K. and train and tram from Attaturk airport is so so simple. we got of the tram just a couple minutes from where the Constellation was docked. Embarcation was wonderful as by six p.m. no crowds just a few late comers like us, ...
YES... we are Celebrity "Elite" members.... we quaff our tea with a raised pinky, actually dress for formal nights, (tee shirts with a vest will apparently will do on Celebrity these days.... Ed Norton... you are in style on these ships !).... and get some lovely "perks" not avaialble to the "common" cruiser.
This all being put aside for the moments something about the cruise..... "Celebrity" has ...
