Very very small ship needs a huge update. Hopefully they will fix the issues cleansing and update disability Lyft to work.

Athens to Rome on the Celebrity Constellation October 21, 2016

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on Celebrity Constellation

We chose this cruise because of the wonderful itinerary. Malta, Cyprus and Israel were all new to us and having the chance to spend time in Rome after the cruise was a big factor in our decision. The Constellation is a very nice ship. Some of our fellow passengers felt it was getting worn looking, but we felt everything was in excellent condition and upscale. The food in the dining room ...

chose this for Israel. The accessible cabin and balcony was better than expecting although having a quick look at cabins in the same grade they did look small. MDR not enough choice on menu for 12 days would have been acceptable on 4 day cruise. Service was very slow. Only had 4 sea days so daytime entertainment should have been easy instead of non existent. Can only hope this is a ...

We booked this cruise a year and a half ago. What fun planning. There were 4 of us, all retired, but active. We picked this cruise because of the itinerary and our past experiences with Celebrity. The ship was originally to depart from Istanbul, but the bombings at the airport there resulted in Celebrity changing our departure port to Athens. I am glad I booked my air thru Choice Air, as they ...

I chose this cruise because of the itinerary and enjoyed all of it. I was a solo female and loved having a cabin to myself. The food was good and my cabin was kept clean and tidy. I used room service several times after a day of long tours. I enjoyed getting up early and getting coffee and watching the sun rise. The ship was quiet and beautiful in the early morning. The tours offered by ...

VISITED GREAT PLACES IN OCT 2016

We chose this cruise because of the exciting ports we visited. We visited Israel and it was an amazing place. We stayed over night in Jerusalem and felt quite safe. The place is so full of history and is so powerful, just loved it. We thought the crew on Celebrity Constellation were great and very helpful especially a waiter in the buffet, his name was Angel and he was just loved by everyone. ...

Constellation: 12 Night Med and Israel Cruise

Spent 12 nights on the Celebrity Constellation in October 2016. For a 14 year old ship she is in very good condition. She was refurbed about 3-4 years ago but is well maintained. She does not have the glamour of some of the newer ships perhaps but that was of no consequence. Sailed from Athens. Took Bus X80 from Syntagma Sq and were dropped off about 50m from check in. Check in was ...

Ok Cruise, But Not Up To Celebrity Standards

My 20th cruise and 5th with Celebrity - this was not nearly as good as the other Celebrity cruises. Some ways that Celebrity fell down: Embarkation was awful. We were dropped off by taxi and after going through initial security had to roll our luggage across a large parking lot in pouring rain while luggage handlers stood under shelter. Check in was quick. We did walk off disembarkation and ...

Mediterranean cruise minus Israel

I really enjoyed the above cruise on the celebrity constellation in October 2015. The employees of the company go out of their way to make you feel great. It was very disappointing not to go into Israel . Instead we went to 4 Greek islands. A shame there wasn't something else to break of all the old churches and look alike places, even tho they were interesting. Other cruises had many ...

Another Fabulous Celebrity Cruise!

Well, Celebrity did it again - We were booked to Israel and unfortunately, due to security concerns, Celebrity needed to change the itinerary...well - they did so with panache. While we were still disappointed with the modification, we certainly could not blame Celebrity for global politics. The overnight in Jerusalem was replaced with an overnight in Athens, and they replaced a few sea ...

Celebrity Constellation itinerary change disappointing.

Although we had a wonderful time on board due to the great people we met from our Cruise Critic contacts, we felt the ship's atmosphere and entertainment were sorely lacking. Having travelled on the Infinity twice, we expected the same experience or better in the Constellation. We were very disappointed. The crew and Maitre "D" in the dining room went out of their way to please us. We didn't ...
