I gave this cruise a rating of terrible because there was no lower rating to choose. Because I worked 42yrs in an industry that did not allow for the number of days away needed this was our first opportunity to go on my husbands dream trip. The Panama Canal. Originally we were going to choose the 16 day version of this cruise until we found out that all the ports of call on the first half of ...

We selected this cruise as an alternative to flying home from an expedition cruise to Antarctica. Cruising is a great way to see multiple countries, have a consistent place to eat, plus the opportunity to enjoy entertainment and other amenities. People should also know they are a captive audience, pay more for adult beverages, excursions, will likely experience nonstop marketing to buy ...

We were suppose to Leave Vancouver September 11, 2019 at 5:30, but do to mechancical issues (propultion problems) the captain came on at 8:00 to tell us that we will not be leaving until approx midnight - in actuality it was 3:30 am on the 12th, and that we will be getting a $100 on board credit and 50% off the price of this cruise towards another future cruise. Because of this issue we will not ...

Worst vacation experience ever! We will never cruise again after the nightmare 5 day trip to Alaska on the Island Princess we just returned from. Our 5 day cruise was suppose to include two stops; Juneau and Ketchikan. We sailed on a broken ship, the stop in Juneau was cancelled, the staff was rude and surly, the food was inedible, the gym was abysmal, and the “activities” on board were sales ...

We took the slow boat to Alaska on our first and only cruise. Our ship was 11 hours late leaving and the true reason why was never explained. We were told the ship was delayed departing several times with the last (7:30 pm) stating midnight which we stayed up for. Midnight came and went and we did not depart and no info provided. Wife woke up at 3am and at last we were underway. The next ...

I had high expectations for seeing a glacier and snow in Alaska. That was the motivation for taking this 5 day “sampler” of 2 ports in Alaska, vs 4 day with 1 port. Unfortunately, the embarkation port exit was postponed 11 hours. This delay and the inability to correct the problem resulted in a port cut, Juneau. The ship itself is older, and looks outdated. The refurbishment done a few years ...

Crew is not friendly at all, food was terrible. Very little entertainment, unless all you want to do is play bingo. Was my first and last cruise on Princess. They charge you for everything. The sanctuary, which is called the serenity deck on carnival. You have to pay to use the sanctuary on princess, $80 for a day. I think this was ridiculous. The entertainment was non existent. We had 2 ...

Choose cruise because Panama Canal was a bucket list. The ship getting on and off was rather easy, The evening shows was not the quality we are used to with Royal Caribbean. The afternoon filler entertainment was boring and we had other couples tell us the same thing. The anytime dining was a mess. We had signed up for the 7pm dining and ended up with the any time room. First night after we ...

We choose this for the Panama Canal. It was fine. The two shore excursions were good. We especially like the Discovery, Meet the sloths tour. The room steward was great, best part of the cruise. The trivia was good. The Embarking and Disembarking was good. The rest of the experience left something to be desired. The food tasted like it should be served in a nursing home. No flavor. The best ...
