Mini-Suite with Balcony (ME) Cabin Reviews

Nice cabin and great bed. Best sleep for me is always on a ship and this was no exception. Bed was so comfortable.

Worth the extra for a more spacious cabin and bathroom. Cabin Steward did a good job to keep it clean and well stocked with towels etc. Our special requests (ie: wine glasses) were delt with promptly.

Upgraded to a mini-suite (port side aft) and glad we did. The added space does make all the difference for us as we like to spend time in the cabin and utilize our balcony a lot. The decor is a bit dated though. Bed was comfortable though the pillows a bit too soft. This category has plenty of space for storage (more than we could ever use). The location on Deck 9 Aft was quiet albeit one of our neighbors could have been a bit less talkative and a bit of a walk to fore elevators for meals. There was a rather pungent odor towards the forward portion of the deck which didn't bother us other than having to walk through on our way to eat. Shower/bath was good. Great pressure. Not a fan of the large canister shampoos/conditioner/ body wash but guess they save money that way. Biggest complaint - wafer thin robes were worthless. Read Less

Fantastic service : Cabin E701
Our cabin was smaller than we’ve had before, but ok. To go through the Panama Canal the ship needs to be one of their smaller ships. Mary Ann kept our cabin spotless. She was exceptional.

This was our fifth cruise so we were used to feeling pitching and rolling on a ship so it's no big deal to us. However, we've never been through a storm. Being as far forward as we were, we felt movement all the time: sometimes more than others. That was all right but we might get a cabin in the aft next time just to see the difference as to motion. Having the tub with the shower was great. I just wish the shower head was hand held and not fixed. Read Less
