Dining at sunset on formal night. We dressed but many folks did not. We wished we didn't also (less clothes to pack!)

This is the first time I have ever had a miserable cruise on RCL and had to really complain about what happen this past week. We had issues with cabin and the casino. Day 1 Everything was awesome like every cruise I take on Rcl. I was in Junior Suite arrived about 130pm went directly to the room to put our luggage up then explore the ship. I was going on this cruise with my best friend whose ...

Kids outnumbered adults 8 to 1. If you want to know what a Disney Cruise is like, this was for you. LINES everywhere, don't get into a hurry, you had to wait for everything, alot of this was due to kids. ex: mom with 4 kids in buffet line trying to figure out what each child wanted to eat, while 2 of the kids were running around screaming. Staff wasn't knowledgeable, ex: at Coco Cay, asked one ...

The food is terrible, the windjammer cafe does not have eggbeaters even though the main dining room does. The windjammer food is tasteless, overcooked, horrible food. The bakery at breakfast is store bought and frozen, the cookies are stale store bought and tastes terrible, same selection daily and most is overcooked and salty. We have to ask for skim milk 10 minutes before breakfast so someone can go ...

JamRock Cruise 2016 aka Jam Let Down Cruise 2016

After cruising to Europe on The Independence of the Seas in August, we knew JamRock Cruise 2016 was in trouble. As it turned out, this was the worst charter ship for our third JamRock Cruise and the worst customer service by RCCL and JamRock promoters. The ship's pool deck is not the ideal layout for staged concerts and no venue on board could hold the 4,000+ guests in one place. So, when it ...

The reason we picked this cruise because we were never been in Ft. Lauderdale, Miami and key west. We took two weeks vacation so we can stay in S. Florida for the 1st week, then be in the cruise for second week. We have never been on the RCCL before and we were so excited about our vacation. We book RCCL expecting the best, but it was the worst cruise ship we ever been on. 1) Our cabin had ...

A rather strange private lifestyle cruise

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Independence of the Seas

First Time Cruiser • Age 40s

It was our first time on a cruise and everything we experienced was underwhelming. That said, it was a private take-over of the boat and most of the amenities were up to the people (Bob & Tess) who contracted this swingers cruise. The ports we visited were as dreadful as the food onboard this floating party of aging (and mostly larger) people looking to experience a swinging lifestyle. The ports ...

First Time Cruiser • Age 70s

RCCL's Jan. 4, 2013 Caribbean cruise on the Independence of the Seas marks a new low in my cruising experience. It is obvious that outside of the evening dining room, her workers are unhappy, grumbling, overworked , probably underpaid , & the ship is understaffed. Ugly behavior on the pools decks, guest service & concierge staff who repeatedly passed the buck on simple problems, staff that can ...

Follow through on things said. This was my first Royal Caribbean cruise. Several friends who travel with RC have always told me that they are top of the line. So when our motorcycle chapter put together a cruise my husband and I decided to give you a try. Boy were we disappointed from day one. Before I disclose ALL the problems; I would like to praise to the highest extent our cabin Stuart. His ...

Independence of the Seas... I would not recommend

For our anniversary, we did the RC Independence of the seas eight day cruise out of Ft. Lauderdale to St. Kitts, St Maarten, and San Juan & Labadee December 8 2012. The old terminal took two and one half hours to get through with long lines, no air conditioning, no one guiding passengers to the proper lanes and a check in staff that didn't have a clue what they were doing or how to work the ...
