Hurtigruten has a long history of expedition cruising with the latest technology in their ships. Unfortunately that was their only highlight. Bottom line up front: Avoid Hurtigruten Cruises (and any of their ships including the Midnatsol) if your aim is to go on a "once in a lifetime" type journey. You will probably be disappointed.
