I’m from East Texas and drove to the port. On Saturday night before sailing on Sunday, we spent the night in Baytown, TX at the LaQuinta Inn & Suites on I-10 East. Great location, very convenient , close to Denny’s for breakfast, Target, Walmart. Easy 20-25 minute drive to cruise terminal, depending on road construction. Muddy & messy after a rain near cruise terminal area. Once you get onto ...

Our total experience on Princess was just great. This was our third time with Princess. We have sailed previously on Disney, Celebrity, Holland America and Norwegian. Staff was very friendly and very efficient. The Emerald Princess is decorated in a more subtle fashion than most ships. Did not have the "Las Vegas" over the top look. Overall, we had a good time on Princess--this was my first Princess cruise, but I have cruised other lines before. The ship seemed "cut up" and not laid out very well to us. Dessert were not all that great. The ...

This was our 10th cruise but only second on the Princess. Before we left I read many reviews that had me a bit worried. I decided to forget about the bad reviews and try it out for myself. I am so glad I did. I think this cruise was my most favorite one next to the cruise I took with mom and day in 1964 from England. The ship was clean and the staff was friendly. I noticed there were not any ...

First of all let me start by saying that the ship is beautiful. I traveled with my sister, We had a balcony cabin. We were pleasantly surprised by the large balcony, and the room itself was very nice. We liked the way the large closet separated the bathroom and bedroom area. So A+ for the room. The food was really very good. We did the anytime dining and that worked very well for us. We had a ...
